Happy birthday Dacob. I am a big fan of Chanel perfumes as well, they are class and history in a bottle. It’s a beautiful surprise knowing we share our birthday month! Mine is tomorrow, June 25th. Two years ago I was in Paris by myself and part of my gift was Paris-Paris. It was magical with that beautiful summertime weather! Walking along La Seine and being surrounded by whiffs of my Chanel and the smell coming from the river, was pure delight! Thanks for such beautiful video!

Oh thank you for sharing such a beautiful memory of a magical moment - your description was so artistic, I could see what you were describing and I felt transported into that moment - and then I remembered some of my own moments I’ve had where my mind and awareness of the beauty I was seeing was so intense and grounded while wrapping around my life force (it felt) - a sparkling moment - rare but special - I guess, I’ve never shared with anyone that I have these moments, so I did not consider it may happen for everyone - I hope it does - it’s like seeing the sparkles of life (for me, it’s like a glint has been painted on the world I’m experiencing) - for a short moment 💖

“A cacophony of shadows.” I adore this imagery from your memory of light moving through the church stained glass bouncing colors from the windows that are interspersed with shadowing from the tree branches in your room. Beautiful and a sensory delight came to life through your words. I have several sample bottles of Comete and am getting to know it. I enjoy it and find it pretty, but I am not yet sure. I need more time with it. The Paris-Paris I am loving so much. I wear this a lot and layer it with other fragrances. It just makes me feel as lovely as the aroma that wafts about gently as I move through my days. For me it feels somewhat like grounded innocence. I don’t associate it with walk of shame, but I am old and married so it has been too long to remember maybe what that morning after a night with a hook up is like! 😂 I find it rich, lasting, clean, lively, grounded, and wholesomely gorgeous. Effervescent, ethereal, yet clearly earthly. I have yet to try Cuir de Russie but am waiting to get my hands on a sample. Right now I am loving Boi des Iles so much and just received a full bottle of it. Oh my goodness. It is masterful. It reminds me somewhat for some reason of 1932, which I originally loved, but with less sadness and no reservations that I had with 1932. So beautiful! Chanel No. 5 IYKYK! Have a happy, reflective, and meaningful birthday month!

Oh I wish I could love Paris Paris but on my skin, just synthetic patchouli...I love Comète which made me love heliotrope and I discovered a striking other perfume with heliotrope, Sécrète Datura by Maître parfumeur et gantier.
