Is Civet still used in Chanel #5 EDP and EDT ? Is it actually from the animal or is it synthetic?

My all time favorite from the entire Nº5 collection. It is truly DIVINE. It reminds me pure light! 💛✨

Chanel No5 is DIVINE!! And EVERYBODY has subconscious scent memories regarding this perfume - I'm 100% certain it was Chanel No5 that got me my new well paid job, yeah, the job interview panel have no idea what hit them 😎😁

U hit my ❤️ today...I just got my delivery of no 5 eau de toilette, I go straight to your video, and U mentioned how it lifts U out of a slum when I realised I'm a bit down and stressed b4 Xmas. I will be spraying this baby daily to get the spirit back 😀

The bottle is so chic.

Over the past 30 years I’ve owned the eau de cologne the eau de parfum the eau de toilette and the pure parfum. Let me tell you. No matter what version someone where’s I can always tell that they’re wearing chanel no5. My personal fav is the edp. It lasts even longer than the parfum and smells delicious! The present eau de toilette smells more soapy and has an extremely high alcohol content which dries the hell outta my skin. So it’s the edp for me. In reality they all smell similar and anyone who knows perfume will know that it no 5 no matter what concentration you wear…

I feel exactly the same way like you about fragrances, they have the power to influence my mood, others rely on drugs (legal and illegal) booze, expensive shoes, handbags and what not, and then there’s us😊

Perfume definitely is one of the best mood boosters for me too.

I wear pour Monsieur, bleu edp but my dressed up chanel is no5 edp , im definitely buying this one shortly

You mentioned something interesting. I noticed that I don’t get allergy flare ups when wearing any of my Chanel fragrances. And when I do wear other cheaper fragrances, ,y allergies go off the wall and I get stuffy nose. Now I know why I love Chanel more. There are couple of others that I love that don’t aggravate my allergies. I wonder if the reformulation had something to do with it.

I am wearing Chanel nr 5 edp for all my life. Yesterday after watching your video I tried the edt and in my mind it is perfect for day use in winter or summer day & night. It is amazing. Lasting power OK for an est. ❤thanks for the precious video

Very soothing and floral

My fave is the premier,though I have only this from the range.

Hi Dacob! I have the same splash bottle AND the 3x20ml purse spray. Now, when I apply the splash (same way you do) I feel the aldehydes are much more toned down than when I use the purse spray... I like the spray better, as I love the freshnes boost of the aldehydes. The drydown of the splash version is much more close to the skin and more animalic, which I don't like very much. Do you experience the same? I bought both of them in the same year, so I doubt it has anything to do with batches? I would love to hear your opinion!

I loooove the EDT - while the pure purfume is glamorous… I think the edt is my fave.

Segunda vez q assisto a esse vídeo (primeira vez foi no outro canal)! Comprei o n 5 edt e admito que está sendo difícil a adaptação, principalmente a civeta.. Thank you Manu 🙏🏻💖💖💖 the civet, to be fair, was always the main base for the cologne concentration. The eau de toilette is more floral and breezy. If you want the civet bomb then I suggest hunting down the discontinued cologne concentration of No5 😊💖🌅

I agree,after i spray at the wrist or somewhere else,the smell is bubbly everywhere and sumtme the smell not actually at the spot dat I sprayed,its kinda weird experience for me as well,the smells is great,but the sillage not huge enof,

@@essence-tiallydacob9611 ya,im addicted to n5 smells, some of my fren said dats is smell bad n old,for me its magical smells,nothing lke no5, ive try all the n5 versions,edt,edp,eau premier,and leau,accept the pure parfum,i wonder he the pure parfum smells a lke, i wish i can try it next tme😍

You are so right , chanel no 5 will be always divine and decadence. Sad that now in Germany is crisis and this is too expensive for me. My Alternative to this ; femme rochas , estee lauder youth dew ❤❤❤❤.

When you say "perfume"..., are you talking about Parfum or Eau de Parfum? It's my understanding that the original 1921 Parfum does not contain the bergamot and peach top notes (which is good, because I prefer the original, original (Parfum). I don't consider the Eau de Parfum to be inline with the original original.

When I say Perfume, I mean fragrance. Otherwise I will specify if I am talking about a specific concentration such as extrait or parfum or edt or edc or edp.

I have been using changel n5 for years, hadn't bought it in a while, and holy cow, did the price go up, anyway I got the EDP and the lotion, it just doesn't last on me, like it did when i was much younger, i even use the lotion.
