I love it! Definitely gender neutral. Also I was surprised because it smells more youthful than I thought. Anybody in their 20s can wear it.

I just love No. 5! Completely agree - men can wear this too. I originally bought the EDP which I still love but keep going back to the EDT recently. It's more subtle and I love the fresh clean soapy scent. Highly recommend the shower gel too ❤

It wear well over the powder! I run back to this although Allure edp is my favorite Chanel scent. Just bought another bottle because this wears so well in rainy spring weather where I live. Thanks for sharing your unboxing. I love love looove No. 5 too! If I could bathe in it I would! I started wearing it when I was 18 now I’m 28. 10 years later, I’m still obsessed. It definitely takes one to a whole new different world. It’s unlike anything else really. I know a lot of people hate it, but the thing is, they don’t smell the perfume the right way. They gotta let it sit on their skin for a few minutes or even an hour or so. But I believe that it doesn’t work well with some peoples skin chemistry then it’s a bummer! Lol I got other chanel perfumes too but Chanel No. 5 EDT and EDP still remains my No. 1 haha I followed you on instagram, thanks for accepting! Love your makeup by the way. You’re so pretty! Renee, thank you for such an honest and specific review. I too purchased the Chanel No. 5 EDT and at first sniff it wasn’t over powering but was fresh and clean smelling. For some reason it does last long on my skin and wears off while I’m sleeping. I tried to spray it on all my pulse points such as my inner elbow creases and my inner knees, back of neck, behind ears and my wrist but I found that it wore off. I did also spray on my clothes and it last longer this way. I did smell the fragrance on me throughout the day and it was clean ,soft ,light soap smell. It wasn’t too powerful to my sniffer but it did smell light and sweet and sensual.

EDT is lighter and often needs a reapplication. Normally, I don't want to have to reapply, but with this one I don't mind. I love this so much! Thank you for watching!

I love the EDP of No5. I apply just a little on my wrist early in the morning, let it damp down for a few hours and then put just a little more on later. It never fails to make me feel confident and sexy. Timeless fragrance!

I think the EDP would be perfect! Either would be amazing so you can't go wrong!

I know that someone's mother wear often Gabrielle and even though people think this scent is way too ordinary or basic to please almost everyone ...particu the young ...I think like you said that we tend to like a scent not because its composi or anything but the memory or person that wore it ....That's how it works ....I love Chanel also ...it is such Parisian iconic Maison ....Yes their n° 5 have changed a lot very much sweet than before ....Its symbols , history , elegance and the memory it brings to us.Chanels the best though !!!

Hi, I am so sorry. I somehow missed your comment. Yes! The top of your EDP bottle should have the Chanel logo. It is odd if your bottle doesn't have the logo. Did you purchase from a retailer authorized to sell Chanel?

What is the difference between EDP and EDT? I have Eau Premiere...don't know which one to get, EDP or EDT..thanks🥰

Hey Renee! I stumbled upon your channel, perhaps because I once have searched for this perfume before. I enjoyed your take on it and how you described the scent. I was surprised you mentioned the gender relation that you feel about this perfume, and I as a man would very much agree with you on that. Since you mentioned that you own, and are familiar, with many varieties of the No 5, I was curious to know which of them you think would fit a man best. Perhaps between the edt and the edp. Peyman.M Happy Holidays! Thank you for your kind words. I think BOTH the EDP and EDT are spectacular on a man. I believe in a fragrance wardrobe... certainly a fragrance is like “personal poetry” and what you where tells a story. I personally like a “richer” scent when I am close to a man and therefore would suggest the EDP.... certainly get some samples and try them both! I shop from Andrea at Macy’s... 949-364-3111. I know she will take good care of you and send you some samples!!! Either way you will rock the fragrance!!!🥰🥰🥰

Hey friend! I just bit the bullet and purchased the no 5 purse sprays in the eau de toilette. Smelt it before but never tried it. Always preferred the edp and pure parfum previously. Please tell me im not going to regret it!!!xx

@@reneeluvsdesignerslawsin9987 well. I have it. My bargain sealed edt purse spray from a lady whose boss buys it her every year but she doesnt like it. Half price! From april 20. First impressions. Weak. Like a body spray... lacks the depth and creaminess of the edp which im used to. Smells a little like the body lotion. Hmmm. Will see how it develops. Edit: well- im hooked. 2 weeks later and ive just ordered the 100ml. It smells like the body lotion. Can smell it on my clothes for hours.

I like the fact you know part of a history pertaining to CHANEL . But my dear, you failed to denote CHANEL WORKED CLOSELY WITH THE NAZI’s to design their uniform & Slept her way to the top. Shall I go on ? And I only I briefly went into the major history of CHANEL. Don’t leave out the most crucial parts of CHANEL when sharing a minuscule part of its heritage.

You should not go on because you’re giving out misinformation. She did not “sleep her way to the top” and I thought it was pretty well known that Hugo Boss designed those uniforms
