I also prefer the EDT! I just got a 100ml at Macy’s. My husband HATES Chanel No 5 EDP but hasn’t said anything negative! He DID say “mmm you smell sweet” whatever if he smells sweet and doesn’t hate it then I’m all for it!! I also have a full 100ml of the EDP which I save for myself 😊 Chanel No 5 EDT was my FIRST perfume ever. My brother bought it for me for Christmas when I was about 22… I absolutely loved it. My collection now has over 100 frags and I do love orientals (Opium, Youth Dew, Ciara, Cinnabar, Coco Chanel ect.) As much as I have carefully built and adore my collection, no 5 EDT IS MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE! EVER!!!!!

My mom wore this when I was little and it is one of my favorite things to smell on her. Now that I am 26 I feel like i am at a point in my life where I could wear it, and not have it wear me. BUT I can't decide if I like it on me and it makes me so sad!! I need to just enjoy it and wear it because its so comforting to me.

Needs to be trialed on skin. See if you like different versions, maybe EdT is not your jam but maype Premiere could be?

Thanks for the review.. (Gratuitous but constructive point: this camera angle is more beguiling that the present one). P.S.: The discontinued and hard-to-find #5 cologne is one that guys can wear, the most civet-heavy version.

This is an amazing timeless perfume. EDT is just a bit dirtier type of N5 that can be used by men as well as women. Personally, my favorite is an extract of N5 but EDT smells also amazing. I think many people who dislike it smell it at the wrong time. This perfume should be tested during cold months of the year when it can show true potential. It is, however, suffocating in warm months of the year and I switch then to its flanker N5 Leu.

I LOOOVE Chanel No. 5 edp!! I tried this one and it was weird how I could smell like some animal pis or some lol. Must have been that dam civet. But that was on paper. You make me wanna give it a try on my skin. I'll be back to report😊

I LOVE the edp concentration, and I really like the edt. The edt is the nicer sister to the edp. Both are great choices!!

I have both the EDP and EDT. I love the EDP ! I sprayed the EDT on me today and it smelled like cat pee ! It’s civet . I don’t like it now .
