(Claims she was drunk and a one time thing And if it was, that's not a big deal. (Downplays it as small and claims he's gay and nothing more happens) And if it is, that's not my fault. (Blames alcohol and blames and gaslights OP for showing up ) And if it was, I didn't mean it. (Plays victim to make it seem like OP was at fault for everything) And if I did, you deserved it. (Tries to make everything OPs fault in the eyes of her parents and social media then tells OP a bunch of BS to justify her cheating)

Kudos for the 1st stories parents. I would also disown my child for this. There are multiple ways how you can traverse all of this before cheating, I value blood but I value morality more, i don't want by blood to be a stain to progress of humanity, i'm not asking for my children to achieve great heights, i simply wish for them to lead a decent life and find happiness in it, if they achieve something it's a bonus to be proud about. Cheating if husband is abusive and controlling, like really abusive and controlling where he physically and with threats arrests any movement MAYBE but only if the girl doesn't have any relatives to rely upon any other reason is lack of morality. Anyway I hold great respect for her parents, i highly doubt that their no-contact period will last very long, I foresee 2 options, 1st she is big child who will live in a car and do dubious stuff only to finally fall back again to her parents who are parents and will take her back but with heavy sanctions. Like Dank said, there are a lot of hints that suggests the parents have grown sick and tired of their daughter's wayward ways. How they immediately believed him, how they clung onto him, how they dropped her, how they pointed out the ways she screwed up.... It kinda paints a picture of a person that habitually disregards accountability and was on super thin ice with her folks until OP came into the picture. Hoping he could be a positive influence in her life, they gave her one last chance, but then she blew it by blowing it.

I think it’s like, the more you use Snapchat by talking to people, the bigger the “score” gets - so OP knew she was talking to someone other than him when he messaged her because the number went up much higher than it would do if she was only messaging him and then putting her phone down. I’m glad they didn’t end up as one of those parents who defend their cheating daughter/son’s actions and putting the blame on OP.
