Inheritance like those usually are DQ'd from divorce proceedings. Especially since a lot of places you can apply for "at fault" divorces which is helpful for the wronged party

OP’s parents had a true love story 💙 probably had ups and downs like everyone and still stuck by each other , literally the definition of “until the wheels fall off” Mom passed in her sleep on her way to her husband 😭. She was strong and a fighter she might have stumbled a bit after loosing her parents back to back but she didn’t give up and off herself. Poor girl was in a deep hole and clawed her way out of it by herself , I don’t how she was able to sit there and hear “how much are we going to inherit” cause I would have made a whole scene 💀 might even spend the night in jail because that shii would have sent me over the edge. And I’d DEFINITELY throw some hands with his mom and friends for shifting the blame as if he wasn’t out there not able to have kids his damn self.

I was just fed up with op , the crying for days , the wallowing in misery, and when her loser husband called she ran to him like a puppy wagging his tail. Go vacation in top tier hawaii resort, take ton of pics on the beach with the resort in background or ocean in front. Whenever they say something, just send them one of those pics. I think the one you are referring to is a middle-aged man who left his wife and 3 kids to shack up with a gambler, let her blow his half of the 401k, and tried crawling back after his dad died because there was a stipulation in the will where he could only Inherit the beachside cabin if he returned to his wife and co-signed the transfer papers.

I found the OP annoying in the first half ngl. Mopping over a cheating husband so much she almost misses the news about her father's passing if it wasn't for her stubborn cousin confronting her. And just going apparently 4 months so depressed that she neglected everything. Like, if she was poor, she wouldn't've been able to just skip work for that whole time. And then thinking about getting back together with her cheating husband just because he called. Were you even listening? Her job pays well , while her and her ex were trying for a baby she was saving money she had enough money to get by and her job had been fired her and only after she reached out for references and explaining what she went through did she get a second chance.

For me listening to this its just fucking insane how mentally weak people are these days. Husband leaves and you so fucked up you cant fucking take a call from your employer for days. Just crying and watching TV like life just stopped, he said he fucked someone and your first words are please dont leave. Even after months, "even after months i was not ready to leave this marriage". Depression problems are 1 thing (i know have it too), but i really think people who cant help themselves and cant be alone are on next level of misery, fucking themselves over being with insanely shitty partners just not be alone is another level of misery.

@@wooshydog the way the story is narrated and also just the content: it’s waaaay too melodramatic (cheating husband, both parents dying over the span of three days, the overemphasizing of how important the whole “my boss’s son is an advocate for mental health” - it’s like a bad soap opera, and it’s written with too much detail where it isn’t needed; world building, if you will)

I’m 13 turned 13 September 20 only a few months ago and a few weeks before Christmas this year aka a few months ago my mom died I have a brother and my dad woke us up at 12 am at night and said he took her to the hospital but she didn’t pull through I am at one of my most prestigious middle schools in my area so I had no time to mourn really I did go back to school immediately but everywhere I went there was reminders it felt like people said mom more than ever and I had a mental breakdown in the bathroom that’s when my friend Aj. Who had been consoling me throughout the weekend because it happened Friday finally told everyone and my life has spiraled out of control since then depression I would miss school work simply breakdown crying stay in my room throughout the entirety of the weekend I know how you felt I buried so many family members in such short notice it felt like I buried myself as well the old me the one who would smile joke laugh that me is gone I rarely smile I only do it around my 2 year old baby cousin I had to reconnect with my mothers parents well her mother and stepfather who are terrible people but I survived I still text her but honestly this is to vent but I honestly don’t think I will ever go back to the person I was people said they were scared because I hadn’t smiled at school since December and I rarely have at all even outside of school.

Yeah, it your fault he cheated because you where infertile (something you can’t control, not to mention he had fertility issues 🙄) and deserves some money for supporting you during those painful months after your parents died in which he was “soul searching”. Absolute bullshit.
