“Right after that my turbos blew” such a relatable N54 statement. I love these cars but if you don’t enjoy working in a garage replacing parts regularly this car is not for you 🤣

True that!! I blew an axle two weeks ago, these turbos make too much torque haha. So expect to see an M3 rear subframe swap DIY on the channel soon hahaha

How much did it costs to rebuild your transmission? And did you do it yourself ?

Noticed the same issue on my spec stage 3+. What friction disc did you order?

The exact same one, they just sent me the correct one this time. I didn't even know it was wrong until I got the new one, so pretty weird stuff

Spec clutch is trash. I did mine back in November of 2021. Now I can’t shift gears when it’s turned on.

Sounds like you got a similar issue to me, I haven't had an issue with spec clutches at all before this, especially with handling hp/tq so this was surprising. Guessing this is a packaging error on their end leading to the mismatched pressure plate, but it looks like they've fixed the issue. Still unacceptable. Lemme just say, if I didnt have FCPEuro warranty id be spending nearly $3k out of pocket AGAIN for all these parts, that would not have been fun

@@SamAbraham exactly, that’s pretty much the truth. I bought my clutch from FCP im going to diagnose the clutch and every other point. Keep you updated with the car

I just looked at my clutch and it looks like your original clutch guess I have the wrong ones too. The surface of the clutch is way more than on the pressure plate
