BMW N54 335i Disassemble Transmission From Engine
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
I finally acquired all the pieces I needed to remove the engine and transmission from the donor car. In particular, the engine hoist, since I had to go through two engine hoists. In which the first one's pump was failing. With the engine out, I went ahead and removed the transmission from the engine, since it was already sold. I will use my existing transmission and mate it to the working engine.

good channel, thanks bro.
Did you have to drain the trans fluid to swap it over or just remove the bell housing bolts and line it all up
Sorry for all the questions. Do you recall where you found the replacement bellhousing bolts or did you end up just reusing them ?

@@nOshi2x i heard only the five long e18 ones have to be replaced because the rest of them are steel and those are aluminum but im having trouble finding them. i found some that look like the ones for the trans (part # 23000417164) but they are apparently for a standard do you know if the mounting bolts for a auto or standard are different. i would think not so you can do manual or auto trans swaps but i just want to make sure. thanks for the tutorials
5:00 Those 2 bolts that are on the passenger side and hold the weird bracket, are those holding in the transmission to the engine or just the bracket?

Could you check a link for me? www.turnermotorsport.com/p-11497-aluminum-bolt-kit-for-bell-housing-e9x-335i-e82-135i-e60-535i/ I know links are rude in comments. I can't remember what they look like though. You said all the bolts were different too.
