The Dev Deck seems a little sour in this one. Playing ranked Catan on Colonist. 1v1 matches are fast and fun, and I hope you enjoy them too! Thanks for watching~

First game, yea I think you really had to assume he had the mono and pop at 11:23 and then again at 12:43 and then you wouldn't have 7'd out Second game, really tough luck, probably worth popping instead of citying at 30:29 cuz of how likely a VP is, but idk that it would have made a difference Really enjoy the videos though, thanks for posting even the losses!

The devs in the 1st game felt like the deck wasnt even shuffled. Like 1st cards for him were 2 monos and for you 3 vps. What is even that 😂

Hahaha, not shuffled is a good way of putting it

When you build to brick port, use that extra road you had to also get on 8 wheat

25:40 it feels like going around the wheat in the south instead of the north would have nicely cut him off.

A valiant effort to fight for the knights in the 2nd game. But unfortunately in the end it resulted in resource loss. Unlucky

1st game, maybe you could've settled the 8-3 on the brick port. You had the extra road.

I definitely considered it and was tempted, but I wanted to leave the 853 open as a quick road/settle option in case we needed it. The game didn't pan out that way though.

Didnt u have the win at 1306? Could have kept 2 roads for the win

On the 2nd game, you should have cut him off from the 8 ore instead of extending your road. There would have been no more popping and army for him.

Fair point! I need to play with the intent of disrupting my opponents more.

This was so hard to watch... feeling bad for yourself at the end and not building dev at the end to move the robber??! Also why are you passing with 9 cards instead of porting? I can't say that was unlucky, you clearly play 1v1 because there is too much to pay attention to in 4 player.

If I might offer a word of advice . . . you waste a ton of resources in every game by not going to your 2:1 ports sooner. You didn't do so in both of these games and it really cost you.

I believe in the power of the ports, and tend to prioritize them a little more in recent games haha :) It's good advice, and thanks for the comment!
