I'm interested, have you grown a rather large moustache since making this Monopoly Video?! Insane games; you love to see it - great last game and respectable opponent.

30:42 "There is no way that we are going to sneak road" Even if you would have cut the road at the 10/9/2? Edit: I see it would not have changed the outcome.

Great games Schloopity, enjoying the videos! Obligatory game comments below lol Game 1: How do ya feel about 2nd pos: 3/8/10 point left to get on more wood really early? I think starting without sheep might have been too risky, but obviously it worked out! Game 3: Aside from the little things, I think the gameplan mistake was delaying taking away the 8/10/5 and 8/4/3 spots given your initial road resource advantage. Especially once they got the 8/5/10 spot, I think porting your brick for devs that'll prob be knights doesn't make too much sense since they're too flexible to really be blocked. Getting the 2 vps at the end was pretty lucky and prob made the game feel closer than it could have been. 30:41 Funny thing is you were one card from plowing 10/2/9, but it was too late then anyway

Glad you liked the videos, and thanks as always for the comments! I heavily considered 3 8 10, and I think it's definitely a good spot. It's well rounded with all resources, provides multiple sources of wheat and a good OWS game. The reason I took the 3 4 6 was mostly defensive. I felt the spot would be too strong for my opponent to have and would give them a powerful and quick road connect that could spell trouble. I think you're spot on for game 2! I definitely needed to secure more placements across the board. He knew what to hit with the knight and kept my wood low, so I got into a fruitless dev race for knight control when it should have prompted me to instead build more and become less blockable. Once he started to outbuild me it really felt like the game was over. I still think that learning the balance between building and buying is the hardest part of the game for me haha. Thanks again for your critiques :)

In game 1, 3-8-10 left was clearly the better pick. You need a single 3 and you have a killer setup with double wheat/ore, great sheep, great road building and most of the board for yourself.
