So in theory, 69 matches is the max you should always have to win to get to that rank? That honestly wouldn't be as bad if it was first to 2. These sets feel like a battlefield bad company match

69 matches is not the minimum you need to get elder god. The points you receive for a win varies depending on the opponent you’re facing

What I dislike the most is that at the low ranks people leave after i win the first match, and it doesn’t count as a set win, only a match win, and these people don’t get punished for it they only lose points, they should implement a ban system for people that leave

Lao has been my main since MK1 launch! I only play online casual, but man he is so fun to play and fun to watch! I think you said it best, Lao is all about timing. If you drop a combo its life/death lol. Still practicing the 1,2,1, BF2, while keeping opponent in the air, but always something to work on. I like using Lao with Sektor or Frost depending the opponent, but Id like to try Goro

First vid watch of yours. Love how you’re focused the whole time don’t complain about much or anything. I’m sure you probably do in your mind but still haha nice to watch someone be good at the game and not complain about little things. Def subscribed!!

Guy was using Lao and Sonya. He can combo off his armored kick with her. And by the time the combos over you’re in the corner for more pressure. Absolutely insane

I main smoke. After playing him a lot I’m realizing how bad he his. Once people know how to fight him it feels like so much work to get a win. Every string of his has gaps, I get full combo punished off of canceling and his overhead is incredibly slow (29 frames). They need to buff this man. Hopefully just make his strings safer

thats how im feeling with raiden rn, all his strings are unsafe unless pared with a cemeo but even with that they can armor move inbetween gaps and get a full combo punish and i cant do the cyrax chip strat because at god rank everyone flawless blocks and ends chip damage and its just frustrating now

Baraka is essentually mk11 geras. Very simple buttons, high damage, great range, everything is practically safe. Also a 50/50 that is so deceiving it should be illegal. 🥔

nah this comparison is crazy, mk11 geras is straight up busted. mk1 baraka has very easy counters if u are skilled enough. he only has two ways to counter zoning quickly and each is heavily punishable if it doesn't land

Hey tweedy just from the first clip. Idk if you know but pressing 3 while in fatal blow while it’s xraying will make it do more damage. I like to spam 3 so I don’t miss any opportunities to do less damage in it. Great video btw

guys, actual serious question, any opinion welcome: do you really think, let's say, mk1 gameplay where lao, at least most of the people (from my experience, God rank), do like two things, walking back trowing hat, armor-launch every gap/plus frames they see and sometimes press random buttons is better fundamentaly than most hated by everybody mk11 where were at least no safe/plus on block launchers and you had actually hit confirm things?

@@drayden99 indeed, my mental health got irreversible damage by safe on block or even armored lauchers after pokes. It is close to breakaway into punish and wake up fatal blows from mk11 but no quite

Real question, is it even possible for a casual to play this game? Every clip and video I see is sum crazy indepth combo leaving you at half, and the game looks crazy fast but maybe its just the people playing?

Not everyone online has crazy combos like that, there's definitely a more casual side to the playerbase. When they do know those combos, it's usually cause they just practice in practice range until the timing and the buttons are in their muscle memory.

Do it with Sub-Zero then I'll be impressed

Hero breaker for a chance to steal the round and to get space to start his zoning. It's either 50/50 on wake up with your armor or use 3 bars to alter the neutral in your favour as Rain.

Ну я так понимаю люкан и многие другие с ним по войс чату общались во время лиги и он просил их для проиграть я как первый бой посмотрел так дальше смотреть не стал, люкан его убивает имеет много хр и потом когда ему остаëтся буквально нанести один удар люкан перестаëт играть, ничего ни антиэрит ни зонит посностью стоять начинает лишь поддергиваясь взадивперëд создавая видимость что он чтото делает
