My 98 gt gets a lil rattle at about 3k rpm when a lil low on oil. It seems like yours making the same noise, I could be wrong tho.

I just installed a set in my car , did you have any issues with it wanting to idle with no tune ?

So, quick question. When you installed the cams, did you degree them or just go based off of the factory timing. And 2 does it have a nice noticeable lope at idle without the tune?

We essentially just went off the factory timing with one caveat(this being a 1998 with a non Pi engine but the cams are for Pi engines). @@LegalLowGround No problem. Yes they should be fine. But make sure you turn the engine over by hand a couple times to make sure you don't feel anything hitting or binding. I've heard people say they've seen the stock Ford cam gears themselves being off a couple degrees.

No, this cam requires upgraded valve springs and retainers. We used comp cams beehive spings part number 26113-16 and retainers part number 791-16
