It was the game plan to rough Clark up. First quarter Clark had more free throws than shots. That's what less talented teams do to more talented teams and Iowa will have to to learn how to adjust quicker. But you could say the plan for Clark kind of worked other than the 27 points, 10 assists 8 rebounds 3 steals and 1 block

I had just asked the nurse to turn on the game as I was in the waiting room for my MRI. Boring programming w/ pablom , vapid, sicky sweet Hallmark show typical of old folks waiting for their doctor's visit waiting room TV. 5 minutes after the nurse turned the game on, came the elbow. That's quite a change in tenor of TV programming. Quiet waiting room broken by my loud "Whoa !!" when the hit occurred.

I've never been taught to raise my elbows up above my shoulders, unless I'm going upward for a rebound, or making a overhead pass, but while on defense, turning my back to ball, attempting to get through the pick, and it's your elbow that gets you through it? Yeah that h_ifer should have been ejected immediately!

Great example of unintentional foul. Not flagrant. No malice and instant concern from the player called for it. She immediately checks on Caitlin and then when play resumes, gives her a handshake on the way back demonstrating her apologies and goodwill. Let’s see this more in the WNBA. If these “rookies” “18-22 year olds” know how to demonstrate good sportsmanship, maybe they can teach you “grown women in the WNBA” a thing or two?!
