Basketball is not a one person game. It is a team game. Coach Dawn knew how to use her entire team. No one can never say Clark can't shoot 3's, but you need shots inside the paint as well. South Carolina had a much better bench. That is why they didn't win in 2023. Maybe if they didn't put all on Clark being the all time leading scorer in NCAA Women's History, for the last 2 years, they could have won a championship. Remember I said in NCAA because she is not the overall all time woman's highest scorer. But she did her best. South Carolina didn't bully her. South Carolina outplayed Iowa as a team.

What SC did to beat Clark was .... use a post player a half a foot taller and 50 pounds heavier than anything Iowa could put on the floor. Add two more players that were bigger than anyone Iowa was using and get every offensive and defensive rebound. Then constantly substitute six superior athletes in and out of the game until all of Clarks teammates were physically and mentally broken. Then she was all alone out there. Five on five Iowa can hang but five on ten is too much. EXAMPLE: 1st quarter of game compared to 4 quarters.

Kelsey Plum 🎉was the NCAA ‘s the FIRST Female scoring leader with the highest number of points scored by a Female Basketball Player in NCAA History, before Catlyn Clark. Funny, nobody worshiped her or promoted her or her university Washington State. Kelsey Plum scored more Female Basketball points in Female NCAA History before Catlyn Clark. Kelsey Plum did it first, before Catlyn Clark, a White Female. Why has Kelsey Plum been overlooked? She was not promoted or marketed before Catlyn Clark to this day and this year, 2024. Plum did it in 2016-2017. Kelsey Plum did it 7 years before Catlyn Clark or her name was ever known or mentioned 7 years after Plum had broke the record and set a new record for the most points scored by an NCAA Female Basketball Player. At least 5 other White Females had set this record BEFORE Catlyn Clark as Females in the NCAA Women’s College Basketball History. Names most people never heard of, women who did what Clark did, way before she later did it. America check your NCAA history records for Female Basketball points scoring leaders. Clark is the last Female of 6 to do it, not the FIRST in history.✌🏾
