How Caitlin Clark CHANGED Women’s Sports FOREVER

Can you believe that tickets to see Caitlin Clark are more expensive than the men's tickets?
And how is it possible that women's college basketball is now bigger than the WNBA?

The passing got me! They were so snappy and accurate. Some of her passing and 3 point shots are a like sextuple spin jump in ice skating. Not possible till now. She had a game winning shot with one tenth of a second left in the game. Who does that? Absolutely amazing is right.

I love how she walks out to the crowd and puts her arms out, hands up, and smiles. She is honoring them for giving her the their time to let her team entertain them. What an inspiration she is to the kids. It's what you do.

I am 75, a sports lover and live live in Ireland. Rugby is my first love, but I read an article about Catlin Clark, watched her in action and I am now a huge fan. What a talent she is! The entertainment value in watching her play is hard to match in any sport. The phenomenon she has become in terms of bringing joy to so many sports fans across America and even now across the world, will take some beating.

I only watched women's basketball during the Olympics every four years but beyond that, never. Last year I read about Caitlin Clark and had never seen a woman so confident in her athletic prowess and making such incredible long range shots and running circles around the rest of the players on the court, no matter what team. She is a superstar. I also don't see how someone so young is taking all the media frenzy around her and still performs on and off the court so superbly.

Reese will not be a star in the pros. Her game is all about being physical, a power forward, but she's not very big. She doesn't have the shooting touch to be a small forward or shooting guard. Larger WNBA centers and power forwards will stop her cold. She'll get minutes and might even be a starter, but she won't dominate as nothing in her game is special. Clark has very accurate range, is a team leader and can pass very well.

But I certainly have been watching women this year. I'm a 70 year old woman who played some sports as a kid (city recreational softball for girls in summer), but unfortunately Title 9 came along too late for me. My high school had NO girls sports team. I grew up during the dark days of women's sports. Hell of a long range/3pt shot, best seen in the women's game. She still needs her teammates to step up to win the NCAA championship. Paige Beucker from Connecticut looks pretty good also (very good mid-range jumper) , but she's had some knee issues, so how long she'll be able to play at the next level will be a question. Nevertheless, the opposite team needs to be on her like glue and try and slow her down. Usually the best players will get their point, but the defenses goal will be to make the best player work hard for their points so that maybe they won't be as sharp on defense. They might want to consider running fresh players at her all the time.

I "Hope" the new crop of Lady Ballers who enter the WNBA, over the next few years, will take that "Failing League" into the realm of A Successful, and Profitable League that will be able to Actually PAY their players according to their "Actual Ability And Worth", rather than "What's The Least We Can Pay Them And still get them to play for us", Nonsense.

There should be nothing like "giving women a chance" in sports, that will only lead to temporary interest, no one gave Clark "a chance" she started balling consistently and people notice these things, thats how you get fans in a sport, not when people pity you.

True, and he still has the men's record. It's wild that he did it in three years, and it stood for 50 years. But, Caitlin has the all time NCAA career scoring record now, and I think that's awesome..

I watch professional WNBA and their excellent. I think their on The Liberty team but Stuie and Jones are just outstanding. I never watched men or women college basketball. But then i saw a news episode about CC. I then saw her play, and i been a fan ever since. When she scores on those way too distant 3 pointers it just is astounding. The first thing that came to mind when I first saw her play is...she is a Born basketball player.

Clark is simply beast. Watching her drop over 35 foot dimes. She's a straight baller. I can say I haven't watched women college ever until this season and yes it's bc it's Clark. She's very professional ya sometimes she may talk smack but that's basketball. She's simply a women Steph Curry fr...

Wether you want to admit she is the GOAT or not, She has done more to advance women’s college basketball than any player in history. So many want to discredit her by saying she hasn’t played in the WNBA yet or but there was a covid year. She has only played 4 seasons. The WNBA is not relevant. Very few care about records or achievements in the layup league. So what she has done in college with 10x the fans and viewers means much more for the advancement of women’s sports than anything going on in the WNBA.
