I appreciate Skip for keeping the standard across the board. All these other people are making excuses for Caitlin not being able to carry her team to a win. Look at the shots that she took and I will tell you they weren't smart shots. You don't just jack up 3's from the logo or 3 feet behind the 3 point line like your shots are automatic. Iowa had multiple second and thirds shot but missed. She could have penetrated the lane but she relies on shooting 3's and she's a defensive liability. She also turns the ball over a lot and those are recipes for a loss. UCONN play with way less players than Iowa with only 3 players on the bench, and their starters were getting slapped with fouls out the gate. I don't wanna hear no excuses and that's what all these people are trying to do, but Skip is holding her feet to the fire.

Raven Johnson played great defense on Caitlyn but the difference is the the supporting cast from South carolina was that much better.

Can we talk about the winners and GOAT Staley?

Anyone notice how much Clark just jogs back on defense and gave up uncontested 3’s that went in. Not a fan of her effort at times

Long story short Dawn is a better Coach than Kim because after the first quarter she put somebody on her who was taller but Kim decided to keep a short person on the girl that shows the difference in coaching

Point blank Catlyn wasn't good enough and was outplayed and overmatched by a better team and coach, No soup for you Catlyn and only winners get wings...😂😂😂 Angel got her chip last year!!!😜

Same excuse as the last finals when Clark loses “but but her team sucks” Buddy she took 28 shots and she made only 10 of em. She didn’t have a good game let alone great. She was great first Q but she only scored 12 points the rest of the 3Q. Also she doesn’t have the clutch DNA. She was bricking everything in the 4thQ. If you gone elevate someone as the “goat” then don’t move the goal post of the expectation.

I am from IOWA and I still think they did good. Should have rotated the whole team on to the court. Their shooting was off. S C coach praised GOD ! The ONLY coach I heard praise HIM ! 🙏🏻

Mwn they don't wanna give Raven no credit! She had 18 in the first quarter! She wasn't tired. Raven just locked her up. Simple and plain. She was getting ripped straight up...

Major props to Catlin Clark, beating LSU,and UCONN with her team having the least talent. SC overall is too dominant of a team top to bottom and having a great coach in Dawn Staley. Catlin is definitely one of the 🐐's of women basketball. at the end of day it takes a great team to win in any team sport.

Bluder beat herself vs SC this year. She exposed their lack of skills by telling Caitlin and the Hawkeyes to let them shoot 3s because they couldn't. Those girls took it on themselves to improve their shooting skills. Staley didn't have to do anything but keep them focused.

South Carolina is a allstar team loaded they all transferred there , on purpose same year like lebron james heat strategy. 5 players vs 10 players? Obviously fatigue. Let's be real they lucky they didn't play Iowa earlier in tournament and Catlin Clark wanted to lose 🤷 😏 by losing she kept Dawn Stanley undefeated and buffed women's basketball credentials not just her own , she still #1 wnba draft pick easy . Over a few draft higher than those who just eat her😂. Chess not checkers.

CC should have had some bench time. The other team mates should have been able to play. Rotation of the team. Their shooting was off. AND the winning Coach thanked GOD ! I am from IOWA and I was Blessed to hear this!

Iowa shouldn't even have been in the championship game. The officials of the Connecticut game were calling phantom fouls and made it obvious who they wanted to win the game.

Reminds me of Indiana State vs. Michigan State. Michigan State was the much better team and one great player in Bird couldn’t beat them.

I agree with Skip. Caitlin gave up at the 3:00 mark, and then her team gave up. Basketball is not over until the clock says 0:00. There has been many of moments of miracles.
