Thank you Acho and Shady for you said regarding Angel Reese's villain-ness. And with all due respect to Joy's take, she's wrong! Angel brought all of the criticism onto herself. When she was winning she was always very high and quite ready to stick it into the face of people. Sometimes those people deserved it. But a LOT of times, they didn't. When Caitlin lost last year, she was asked about the Angel taunting her and her teammates. Caitlin's response was NOTHING BUT CLASS. That is why she is beloved. It isn't because she is white. And Angel being treated as the villain is black. It's how each person has handled SUCCESS!!! Angel got her vitriol from people because of how she and her teammates decided to carry themselves. Even up to the start of the game! The Iowa teammates were out on the court during the national anthem, holding hands. The LSU team was in the locker room, segregating themselves from not just the world, but giving the middle finger to everyone while doing it. LSU could have always endeared themselves to the country and given due respect to the country, the fans, and their opponent, but they DECIDED not to. Those are the FACTS. People are LOVING Caitlin and the Iowa team for how they have handled defeat AND how they have handled success. That is a basic life lesson. Lastly, I'll say this about Joy's comments. People DO criticize MALE villains. We dog them whenever we see them. And if they do it over and over and over, we forever vilify them. We dogged the Bad Boys for DECADES after their loss Chicago. The difference between the Bad Boys and Angel Reece is that the Bad Boys NEVER ACTED LIKE A PUNK VICTIM AND CRIED!!!

Also Caitlin's talent is constantly being diminished because she is white. Hall of Fame black female basketball players have been talking down on her A LOT while uplifting the black female athletes. Swoops even said that she had to stand by her people.
