She’s been under much more pressure being guarded much higher up court, double teamed and blitzed. College defenders just aren’t as elite as WNBA defenders.

@@billy4eyes512 that might contribute to less shots taken but not % made, she doesn't need much of a look, actually it seems she hits more with less time. more likely a combo of her injury legs 2nd guessing do to trying to fit in and conflicting coach instruction

Sabrina brought so much attention to the NBA skills competition when she and Steph went at it. I was hoping it would continue at the WNBA. Would be great to see a DT/KD matchup, or Caitlin/Book or Dolan/Jokic.

Yep. Too close. If Caitlin is going to participate, need to start from the sidewalk. One player asked her coach "where on the court should we start guarding her?" Coaches response. "Start guarding her when she gets out of bed!"

she was ripping every shot in warmups pre Aces game

She is a streaky shooter so if she gets on a roll she may hit every one or miss a bunch. The one sure thing is that she has the quickest release, which gives her an advantage in a timed event.

I think she would want the contest from longer range like 25 to 35 feet The WNBA line is 22 feet.. AT the line she's beatable.

I'd be surprised if she entered it. She's not the traditional 3-pt shooter. This year in the W she's taken like 3 shots along the right sideline. None along the left and none along either baseline. Shooting a logo 3 is different from hitting more traditional 3's, just like hitting a half-court shot is more different yet. If she does enter, I don't think she'll do well. I know some newbies will say she can hit the longer shots so she can certainly hit shots all around the arc, but it doesn't work that way, by that logic, she should have a mid-range game. We'll see, but I doubt it.

It's rare that someone like yourself notices the details. I've studied her college shooting charts for all 4 years and it's do bizarre. She's really good from the left baseline but she doesn't shoot that shot much. Right baseline is a weak spot. She makes 3's at these spots at a higher rate than 2's (inside line but outside paint.) She uses a lot of leg drive in her 3's.. I think she has a hard time figuring out how much leg drive she needs to use on the shorter shots and it throws her off.

There's a clarks training video. She shoots 3s from right and left. That might change your mind

If the rotations are equal every player will get about 16 minutes.

I think the Clark hazing has subsided a little and she's not feeling quite as hated by the opposing players, that has to make her a little more happy.

Sabrina still will be the favorite.

I mean -- basically it will be the most popular players not already on TEAM USA (which is TEAM WBNA) versus the most currently talented players (Team USA) ... So I can't imagine TEAM USA will be able to be super competitive ... but it should still be pretty fun!

I don't think she should participate in the 3 point contest. That's just not her style of shooting. Grabbing a ball of the rack and shooting at the line isn't a natural motion for her. She's really not the greatest 3 point shooter. It's the range and way she shoots that makes her so great. Just pure 3 point shooting and % isn't what drives her. Plus, it's a no win for her. If she doesn't dominate the competition and win hands down, she's going to get roasted by every troll online and in the media. It doesn't help her any if she wins. It would be expected. I see no upside. The WNBA certainly doesn't deserve the attention.

She is known for her range but to say she's not a good 3 point shooter is incorrect. Not saying she's the best but compared to most she is definitely a good 3 point shooter. Just watch her warm up. The contest is similar to warming up than playing a game

@@joketsu100 What are you reading??? No where does it even hint she's not a good 3 point shooter. There's a HUGE difference from "not the greatest", key word there "greatest", to not being good. C'mon. Of course she's a good shooter. But there are better percentage 3 point shooters in the league. In fact, she's not even in the top 20 currently. That was all I was trying to get at.
