How to sabatoge Clatin Clark and the Fever team. Coaching moves: • Constantly change the lineup. • Allow opposition scoring runs without calling time outs. • Call timeouts to break Fever momentum. • Bench your star player when she gets hot. • Don't prep team coming off big wins. • Take the ball out of your star player's hands in the cluch. • Let basic team skills languish with no development coaching. • Be active to appear to coach, but don't actually coach. • Play marginal players to allow opponents to catch up/ take the lead. • Stick with game plan that doesn't. • Don't go back to game plans that have worked.

@@BIBLEBOY-xu7syI’ll take the 5-6 TOs a game given how much more she touches the ball as most point guards do and is responsible for a combined 55 points today. If you think Caitlin cost them the game with those turnovers and the coach played no role in losing then you’re clueless . By the way the top four players with most turnovers in the league are all point guards. Hazard of the position ace.

Your stats dum bass are also flawed considering Clark shoots thirty feet away, so yes she's going to have worse shooting stats due to her position of play, I would argue Reese is actually under performing considering when she shoots from, she should AR worse be near fifty five percent not low forties.

Is this sarcasm I can't tell? I'm a fan of CC and appreciate the statline she put up tonight, but I'm also a realist. Her having good block and steal numbers does not mean she played good defense. She routinely lost track of her off ball assignment which led to a number of back cuts and open 3's. I'm not saying she is a BAD defender when she puts in effort, but she's definitely undisciplined and inconsistent when her player doesn't have the ball and chases steals/rebounds

The Mystics just hustled their asses off. They wanted it more and were ready. Their offensive movement and passing was phenomenal as well. Wonder if their coach would be interested in coaching the Fever....LOL I think CC finally got frustrated enough going into the 4th, that she started taking over the game more. If she is allowed to play that way for an entire game, this team gets better instantly. That doesn't mean her shooting all the time or taking forced shots, but rather just pushing hard and either shooting or driving to get the assist or finish. They obviously will never be able to set proper screens for her on a consistent basis, so at this point, just give her the ball and let her create. And I know she is somewhat lazy on defense but I really think that is for a reason and helps her fill passing lanes for steals and drop to help and get blocks as well as rebounds. So you kind of have to take the bad with the good. Curious to see how well DD does when she gets into better game shape. She seems really smooth.

KT's appearances at weekend meets in the New York area required security after the was in 8th grade. By the way, CC and KT are both 22. Tuohy is now a pro runner with Adidas.

I kept thinking in the second quarter to go to a zone, pack the key and force WA to shoot to a win instead of the back doors. Put two of our bigs at the low posts on defense and rotate our bigger forwards through the top of the key to ensure a fast transition game. This would have forced WA bigs to keep up with our bigs (which they can’t). I’m a layman (not a WNBA coach) and I was able to see that strategy.

Garbage time output against a bad and injured team and they still lost. Like I said after the Liberty game: nothing has changed with their defense the Liberty just missed an awful lot of open looks. The reason the Fever were able to come back at all had more to say about the young and inexperienced 2nd stringers the Mystic have to play because three of their starters are out until after the break. The Fever have all they can do to beat them now. If the Mystics can pick up one more win before the break and when Sykes, Austin and Samuelson return after the Olympics, it'll get interesting.

Amazing. I know you say I'm always in here giving you grief, but not so much. Today, you are saying what iv been trying to tell you. This ROTY talk has been nonsense! (and coincidently pushed by those with an agenda) It is not close, it's never been close. It should not have taken the games today for you to know that, you should have known sooner. Reese is a solid player, she has all the tools to have a long career if her attitude does not get in its way. (like Carters did) And, Carter is a far better player overall, Reese may not get a 3rd and 4th chance if she screws it up. But, I'm not diminishing her numbers (I may the streak now) She is a Charles Oakley player, a very long career of 10 &10 per game. Book it. Yet at the same time, you never, ever, choose Oakley over a Magic or Jordan. Jordan off the court, currently Magic on the court.

Dang dude you just don’t want to admit she’s a bad coach. She changed lineups after a win before, she doesn’t make adjustments especially after watching Katie Lou get demolished by the Mystics in those switches and then not doing a thing about the layup clinic on back door plays.🤦‍♂️
