Reese plays thugball but CC plays basketball as it should be played. She is fun to watch. I attended Fever games in the late 90’s because they played real basketball. They were fun to watch. Then the Detroit team hired Laimbeer as coach and he introduced thugball and it caught on. I haven’t been interested in the WNBA since then. Until now. The Fever are fun to watch again. If the WNBA was smart (which they haven’t proved so far) they would forget about race, gender, sexual orientation and social justice and concentrate how to take advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime player. @@danielhackney7806 I don't think they make a change this late. It took the Fever 20 games to adjust to CC to handle her passes. And as brilliant as she is at times, she is also a defensive liability, which taurasi is as well, and still turns the ball over. BUT She definitely has the respect of the rest of the league, they cannot deny, that every single team has changed their defensive strategy to stop clark. No one has played her straight up since like game 2. Heck someone just compared her to A'ja, who is supposedly in the running for league MVP. And honestly, Clark isn't that far of a stretch. Honestly, Clark needs some rest. I think she is emotionally and physically drained, and she is starting to get a bit ungrounded again.

@@madflower8723 I have been puzzled by people comparing a 27 yr old seasoned veteran to a College Rookie who has played 24 games. Let's wait 5 years and see where CC stats are. I think she could be a dominate player by A'ja age and experience. She is a POWERFUL FORCE even as a rookie, which is impressive! Her 19 assists in last game is off the hook for a rookie. She is a TEAM player, not a ball HOG. There is SHINE all over her teammates from her unselfish assists. The Fever team is young, but talented. I think they have a REAL shot of the Playoff's! I heard Taurasi might not play or play very little because of injuries. But she is the GOAT looking to break Gold Metal history. Even if they have to bring her to the Olympics on a gurney she will go. WNBA doesn't want any SHINE on CC, they think she has enough for a rookie!

What does one do when the company he/she works for supports a toxic culture? They find a new job at an organization worthy of their talents. We all do this. Clark has the option to play in the EuroLeague, and leave the WNBA to self-destruct. Why enrich those who don't appreciate and hold her back? I believe most of us have run into this situation at some point in our professional careers. In most instances, the move comes with a bump on salary too.

Yes its because of ONE person…..Clark. Also Diana Taurasi for you to pick Paige Bueckers over Clark is crazy. Even tho Clark didn’t win the national championship but she took a college like Iowa who has never been to the final 4 to back to back Final 4 and a national championship appearance is more impressive then then what Diana did in UConn.
