well in Yuri's revenge. he is still a war hero from the timeline anyway. He even helped you to recapture the space base that was used to travel to space to fight Yuri's forces there. That's what I know from Zofia's information. He does have respect to the comrade general.

Every female in RA3 were showing their tits every chance they could get, and yet the RA2 girls are not only far, far sexier, they were more believable and dignified in their roles. Also, you just knew Romanov wasn't a bad dude at heart when he pulled out the pet turtle.

I've got to say, as Command and Conquer evil factions go, Alexander Romanov's USSR is the nicest faction you could possibly work for. I don't think he once gratuitously threatens to kill you, not even under mind control. I mean they're still the bad guys, but compared with the psychopathic pressure cooker of Stalin's war room or Nod's stab-happy military leadership your life expectancy is probably the healthiest under Alex. He's just so *chill*.

That's acutually true. Romanov was the only one who didn't kill anyone around him and cannot really say he was a bad guy. He just wanted the Soviet Union to teach those Allied dogs a lesson. Also he would never kill anyone if you fail a mission or 2. Doesn't seem that type of person. Stalin is like....himself. You failed one mission but pretty much conquered Europe regardless? To the firing squad with you? He even goes to the point he kills one of his generals with his bare hands....and the "if you fail do not return" stuff... RA3? Krukov is like a worse Vladimir wants to take all the credit and treats you like a imbecile. He was acutually happy that you attacked him. Cherdenko is just a moron. He is like Stalin + Yuri with his sneaky ways of taking out those who knew who he was before and than he attacks you after you are too successful.... Yup. Stay with RA2 Soviet Union. You might acutually have a good life there.

I love how soldiers are blocking the windows where you could see Canada outside. In the Allied campaign you see General Carville in that same location.

I think you are missing a few clips: 1) Vladimur freaking out when the allied navy attack his dreadnought in mission 2. 2) Korea commander laughing at you if you let them establish their base. 3) The tesla trooper telling you to position them near the Effiel tower.

Did anyone else notice how Yuri Jumped out of his skin when Premier Romanov is introducing him.

The plot is so so cliche and I love every bit of it, especially after you know some facts about United States and Soviet Union. Such a piece of art.

I like Soviet story mainly because of Premier Romanov and Lt. Zofia

I liked Tim Curry's acting in RA3 but Udo Kier as Yuri is still better

I preferred the seriousness of RA1. RA2 was good, but was a bit jokey. The Russian character uniforms for example are pretty cack. Romanov looks like he's wearing a white bag!

I think tibrium sun has best of both. More serious nature of RA1 but way more cutscenes and personality like RA2. Also TIbrum Sun nod compaign is just so good with the cutscenes s coz of all the characters on nod's side.

I find it pretty much garbage, its just goofy and feels like im watching some kindergarden where some Asian, a American and some Russian dudes beat eachother instead of actual war or anything that way. It feels so goofy and retarded really, the final mission of the allies was somewhat funny because of how dumb it was which is not exactly good and the ending after that was just Tit Alert 3 because thats sadly where the bugdet went >the actors are not even good compared to here and that they dont cloth properly wont make it better The only time I really enjoy Red Alert 3 is in COOP which is the only time because I like a challenge on max difficulty but EA programmed the AI so poorly that its the reason why I can only enjoy COOP..because thats the only way you actually have a chance, why having a co-commander in the first place if you do anything alone anyway and they dont adjust? Anyway, Gameplay wisely its.."average" but can get really good in COOP. So I guess its only really worth it if you have a buddy if you ask me

I used to rewatch that first soviet campaign movie (4:06 here) over and over just for the 1st second of it where you can see her butt. The Actress' name is Aleksandra Kaniak btw. she did a few videos in the early 90s that you could look up on google if interested

I liked Yuri actually, but the he wanted to kill comrade-general, plus those mind-tricks even if potent are very risky and unreliable in the long term and overall making the world mindless slaves is... boring. :(

my god the story line actors and era of these games!

Damn. I finally could appreciate every aspect of these cinematics after learning screenplay, photography, acting and cinematography. Kudos for Westwood Studio. Although i find it bit funny now they really tried their best to deliver all the cinematics with super limited CG technology back then, and keep proceeding even if it means to appear worse than B rated movies. Turns out it still become a timeless cut scenes. 😂❤

Yuri is more related to communism than the premier's Soviet Union, Yuri's army wont be corrupted by capitalism, however the soviet general Vladimir was corrupted and that premier approved the general's behavior.

Last great RTS from the good old days. I guess SC2 is great and well balanced and all, because blizzard, but the fact that the singleplayer is way too easy and scripted and the multiplayer on the other hand is way too hard and demanding because it's filled with kids with nothing better to do all day, looking up every perfect strategy for every map for every position, I just can't count it. I guess you could say Ra2 was the last pre-youtube era great RTS.
