I never thought of it that way. Back in the day (when I was in Middle School), I thought Dugan was being a complete idiot for stating that line, and that no leader in real life would ever be that weak. Although the scene is still a pretty heavy exaggeration IMO, it does make a lot more sense if you think of it as satire.

Well, Yuri was threatning to remove free will from the entirety of humanity and after what he did in the last game(take over the people in charge of the nukes) everyone knew he might as well pull it off If he fell for the proposal he would be captured and the US president wont need to go through with it, but even if he did he could make sure Yuri wont have his mind-control powers before handing him the office(which by this point would make him more of a problem for the soviets than the americans) Would still be pretty hilarious tho "Premier Yuri"

the allies mission could have been better if there are soviet presence against you in each mission until mission 5. YR was before the allies won the war and before Yuri`s defection to the soviet so having soviet forces assisting yuri would make sense instead of just only yuri`s army.

I mean, considering that those missions take place AFTER you went BACK IN TIME, wouldn't be a stretch to assume the one keeping the Soviets at bay is YOU from the PAST and keeping things close to the base timeline, letting PRESENT YOU focus on Yuri.

@@jafnizainuddin6613 the goal of Op: Time Shift, ot was traveling back in time to the beggining of the Soviet Invasion with information for Einstein of that time about Yuris operations. Returning to the beggining, Carville was still alive, knowing the Crazy Ivan attack on Pentagon to avoid it. So, he got saved in the end.

Am the only one who have a big WTF moment as i see tanya the first time in a dress ? :D

I know this is a 5 year comment and I may not get a response… but does anyone know what happened to Kane in the Red Alert universe? Supposedly the Soviet ending leads to the Tiberium Series since Kane was pulling the strings behind Stalin… but the Allied ending is canon so… did Kane get killed in the Red Alert timeline?

I beat both sides, although Allies just for the story. Soviets, I beat on all levels. Because Soviet's kickass. So no, it is a mission that needs to be completed. No branching story lines.

This reminded me how much i would love a new C&C inspired storybased shooter...

I would have loved an alternate scene with Carville getting the jump on the Crazy Ivan that blew him up in the first game.

Watching these endings,i see why this frenchise was so well loved and its fall (and it latest title,of which no one wants to talk about) feels more tragic.

You know how messing with the timeline always creates problems for everyone? that's why RA4's about the USSR and Allies fighting the Enigmatic Accords in an attempt to save the West Woods

Yuri came closer to world domination than most people could dream even dream about. But he was outsmarted by Doc Einstein, who, years before the first war was developing his time travel technology. It seems he improved on the design a bit.

You got one thing wrong, that Einstein who created RA1 universe was an unique one, his timeline is seperate from other RA timelines, when he erased Hitler, he got pushed back to his own timeline, so he had no way to know what happened in that new timeline he created, that's why in RA1, there was no time machine. The RA2 time machine was a different one from before, this machine literally change the timeline, because it can merge both the new and the old one together after the major change was done.

7:54-8:30 So, this is Yuri having taken control of Hollywood? "Empty your mind and submit..." "The less you know, the better off you will be..." Doesn't seem too different from regular Hollywood production!

Because the Chronosphere, the big one that could have sent the forces back, is located on a tiny island off Florida. The Dominators that did fire turned all the friendly forces around it into Yuri's. Cut off from it, Einstein had to create a new time device to circumvent the Dominators' activations. The also wasn't any point in trying to build a whole new Chronoshpere because the main one is located in the perfect spot that makes it so powerful and would take too long. Yuri would have gotten control of the main one before a new one was finished. All other Chronoshperes are tactical devices; local battlefield range only.

Years late, but Chronospheres, by default, are not time machines. They are much more specialized.

good editing, fluent, has good photos that don't distract (when the mini cutscenes come)... usually these types of videos are edited like shit

*Red Alert 3 destroyed Red Alert 1 as well, since it was focused around the Chronosphere too. So technically, Einstein could not stop Hitler from forming the Third Reich, and they should have been in Red Alert 3.*
