In the 20s before WW2 they didn't have a military thanks to the Treaty of Versailles so here it makes sense that they are overwhelmed by the USSR as likely the Germans were just rebuilding their Army after the treaty was lifted. They are also the frontline against Moscow next to Poland which unfortunately didn't show up here, which means that their generals were the 1st to fight the Soviets with the Polish Army.

The Nazis probably would've found someone else like maybe Goring to lead the party as they get themselves elected into the Weimar Republic. Not to mention how things would go for the rest of Europe. After all, Fascism already rules Italy by 1924.

@@commmander64 The Allied war doctrine is different than the Soviet one. From what I can tell, NATO troops were trained in defensive tactics by the Americans, which makes their strategy more effective. American troops are trained in guerrila warfare, thus allowing them to operate independently instead of having to wait for orders, whereas the Soviets must await orders from their superiors lest they be arrested or executed for desertion.

Someone made a video theorizing Einsteins time travel was the same as Avengers: Endgame (i.e. going back in "time" is really going to a separate timeline. Any changes only affect that timeline, and the "present" remains unchanged) So here, killing Hitler only created a new timeline instead of changing ours. He returned to the present still seeing the aftermath of the real WWII we know. But in the timeline he left behind, the version of himself who resides in it did not experience the war started by the Nazis thus the different personality.

Well, he *did* know about the time travel, and he *was* in the vicinity of the anomaly, so it's possible he knew Hitler rose to power in the original timeline. Since he was affected by the anomaly like Einstein was (albeit to a lesser extent) he knew of both timelines. Also, it's explained that the Red Alert universe's version of WWII started up sometime in the early 1950s. Since this was only 1946, nobody knew of Stalin's schemes for world domination except Stalin himself and his inner circle.

Correct, Einstein could not have predicted the outcome of killing Hitler however he shouldn't of returned to the exact point and state from when he came. You can argue that in 46, nothing would of changed beyond the normal world since Germany didn't invade any nations in 36 so his start point wouldn't of changed. I think the craziest thing to come from Hitler's death is that the powers that be in 1950 already had technology from the 60's and technology the Nazi's invented and that somehow just exist in the 50's.

Similar story when US funds Egypt millitary $580 million after Egypt sentences hundreds to death in 2 day trials, jails western journalists, etc. Ukraine 2x had coups for western side, last time could have had early elections peacefully rather than coup. Leader of western side of last coup ended up with 10% popularity (lowest ever) and still no coup from eastern/pro russian side. America intervenes in places with russian bases, eg Ukraine ($5 billion to promote democracy according to US official), Syria (russian base), but not in places with American bases. Russians play same game in reverse. Americans praise the egypt referendum where you could get arrested for advertising for other side, Russians praise the eastern ukraine referendum.

This is the best Red Alert game because the story is serious and more realistic. 2 and 3 went very overboard with the goofballness and satire. I was expecting 2 to be darker than the first since it dealt with the Soviets invading America but it turned out to be more comedic. The short campaigns in 2 and 3 also were a strike against them.

I wish someone competent could reboot Red Alert series and keep the dark, serious atmosphere that made RE1 so great. That was a true alternate history game, even if technology was unrealistic. I loved Red Alert 2, but still preferred the seriousness of RE1. And RE3 was an abomination made for little kids with little attention span. But the POTENITAL! It's still there! I would kill for another Red Alert. Game industry and technology have progressed so much since then and we could have another masterpiece. I also hated how the Soviets always lost. An alternate plot of Red Alert 2 (which would be amazing IMHO): at the end of RE1 Soviets conquered Europe (except Britain). RE2 would be again about Soviets conquering North America. While Soviets failure to take over all of North America is actually very plausible, it would be a nice change to see Americans lose for once. At least at first. Alternate plot of Red Alert 3-You cannot just take over such vast areas with population armed to the teeth and expect that population will stand by. Very successful resistance movement across USA and later Canada are formed which manage to make Soviets retreat and regret ever coming there. Soviets did not gave up easily, many thousands die and cities are in ruins. However, Americans know that it is not over yet. Red Alert 4- Wave after wave of of people join Europeans resistance movements, everyone is inspired by American success. Resistances are armed and helped by Britain, USA, Canada, Australia, South American nations and even some Asian and African nations. Everyone had enough of the Soviets. After some time, those nations directly send their armies to fight of Soviets. Canon ending is resistance being successful. However, as always, Soviet version of events is playable. Red Alert 5- Directly after Red Alert 4. Everyone against the Soviets. Invasion of USSR lasts for two years. Soviets are eventually defeated but at a great cost. These events have lasted for at least a decade and the world is in a worse state than after "our" World War 2. Many more people have died. At least in canon ending. Soviet campaign is brutally hard, Stalin (who lived much longer than in our universe) is determined to fight to the last man. Red Alert 6-A few decades later. Great European war between nations that would take inspiration from Second Balkan war. Plus civil wars and fights between different ideologies and regimes throughout Europe. During that time, weak but determined Soviet loyalists make a return. This would be the last Red Alert with no canon ending. This is just one version of events and the possibilities are endless. My version may be crap, but I had to give one example of how easily they could resurrect this series In the end, it all doesn't matter as long as the reboot is faithful to the original.

Also Red Alert 1 for the record, experimented with actual Geo Politics based on the time line. History seems to agree that if Nazi Germany didn't rise to power, Stalin would of eventually tried to take over Europe, the only argument is from people who think he (stalin) would of tried to put Communist powers hence why he backed revolutions in Germany and Spain or he would of eventually tried to use military force (which would of been a disaster to try to fight the European colonial powers of the time.)

Apparently Stalin's body count was much higher than Hitler's was. People just don't talk about him as much since he ended up on our side. In fact, the entire game is based around the topic being discussed here. Stalin would probably be doing what he does in this game if Hitler didn't stab him in the back. In this timeline, Stalin was able to build up his forces until they were large enough, and skilled enough to threaten the European Union.

@@MrPingn Meh - I always thought she was overrated: yeah, she chews through infantry pretty well but most of the combat is between vehicles (and she easily gets crushed by tanks or shot up by rangers and APCs). And the later versions of Tanya make her an OP Mary Sue unit that can blow up vehicles simply by standing next to them...

So basically speaking English with a German accent means the addition of a V sound to random words.

Weastwood originally planned to merge the Red alert universe and the tiberium universe with 2 games: cnc.wikia.com/wiki/Command_%26_Conquer:_Renegade_2 cnc.wikia.com/wiki/Command_%26_Conquer:_Tiberian_Incursion

+Trinexx360 I the beauty of the Tiberian series is that, while the Red Alert series could bridge into it, assuming the soviet ending, the Tiberian series could also easily take place in our own world.

Actually, Soviet victory is completely non canon, Red Alert and Tiberium both form from Allied Victory though the split isn't defined thanks to EA changing the direction of CnC3. If USSR won that lead to Tiberium, then USSR would exist during Tiberium Dawn and Russia would NOT be part of GDI like it is.

If you watched the soviet victory ending, you would know that the currently secret organisation of nod will tire of the soviet union in the early 90’s, so the first tiberium war can still occur witht he soviet victory

The guy who shooed away the soldiers and put the debris over Stalins face at the end; was that the same guy who kept spacing out during your briefings throughout the game? If not then who was he, and whoever he was, why did he want Stalin dead instead of captured? Help?

As do I, Recover! So that was indeed him! I didnt know, however, that he was Greek, which provides much more of an explanation! So that would explain his reason for burying him alive.....Hell, were I in his shoes, I would likely prefer the same, that my biggest enemy be buried and forgotten, than publicly executed and remembered! In any case, thank you for clearing it up for me!

That's Nikos Stavros, a Greek colonel and the second in command of the Allied forces alongside General Gunther von Esling. What he does at the end is taking personal revenge against Stalin for having carpet bombed nearly half of Greece.
