The actors got better, though even more campy in Red Alert 2. 🤣

I just love how von Esling's uniform is just a mishmash of parts that (if you take the timeline seriously) shouldn't even exist. The clothing comes from the GDR and his officer's hat looks like it's wearing the skull of the SS, but without the eagle. ^^

I also like how they made him up instead of using historical generals lime Rommel, Guderian, Von Rundstedt, who would have been alive at the time. But I get it too. You don't want to make the historical generals of the Nazi regime (even ones that turned on Hitler like Rommel) look like the good guys and heroes even in an alternate timeline.

i know this came out in 2020. but i wish they had used the bonus green screen footage to rebuild the cutscenes instead of the A.i Upscale. it just makes everything look really.. Blurry.

anyway, thanks for doing us the solid uploading the entire remastered collection like this. while i realy did love the C&C 1 games, for the love of it i could not get behind playing them again to get into the story. i may just be too spoiled lol.

My problem is RA/2 weren't as good to me as TS, so although I got those 2 at some point it was always back to Tiberian Sun, prolly cos it was the random game in the shop that was my C&C intro....Still not played actual C&C 1 tho

Ahh yes, UNGDA aka GDI in first stage. Actually, Red Alert was meant to be a prequel BEFORE Tiberain Dawn.

@@Amp661 Sorry to bust into your bubble, although that's what the recent C&C fans thought. Although Red Alert campaign was MEANT to be a prequel before C&C Tiberian Dawn which take place between 1950 - 1953. Both Allied and Soviets ending leads to Tiberian Dawn while people thinking that RA Allied ending leads to RA2 although that would be Yuri idea aka C&C 3 Incursion aka cancelled Westwood C&C 3 version.

too bad the original master tapes where lost, hopefully one day AI will advance so far that we can have a remaster of the cutscenes that will make them look like modern day 4k movies.

I wish the CGI cutscenes were done better, they always felt too short and very limited.

It is unfortunate that the Red Alert cutscenes are so poor. Hopefully they can fix them one day with Balenciaga.

The Allies got totally surprised by the full scaled invasion of the Soviets. They lost a lot of ground and had to reorganize their high command and defense. Of course this is my opinion and this is not a straight up fact :P

Westwood idea was going to implant Nato as a faction, although they wanted to make a FICTIONAL faction such as Allied Forces. Nato faction is now turned into Allied Forces in the story.

Fun fact: Nato is going to be part of the role which according from C&C Red Alert beta. Although Westwood Studio changes into MORE fictional faction such as replacing it with Allied Forces.
