I mean, you probably didn't so much guess as you deduced. I promise you, even Ken, James and all the other great champions don't actually know the fact stated in a bunch of the clues but are able to deduce correct responses based on context.

Me too! But I did feel confident in my “guess,” it just FIT so WELL! Those (esp. Final Jeopardy answers) that all three *whiff* but I correctly know (or make a “rationalized” guess that pans out) are my faves, also! 😎

I saw a can of that stuff just a few days ago and noticed that it said "since 1904" on it and I remember thinking "oh, it's older than I thought!" Not a fan of the drink itself but the combination of the memory of it being founded in the early 1900s, and the word "beaver"... Yay, I got this one!

That's what I came up with. Like the log eventually became the orange barrel, beaver starts with B like Barq's...

The map from the current logo of Canada Dry made me think of my favorite brand of ginger ale

Last time I was at the ROM Museum in Toronto, my teenage daughter was quite thirsty and spent a long time at a drinking fountain. I said (in an affected Mackenzie brothers accent), "Don't drink Canada Dry, eh!" She was not amused, nor did she get the dad joke. My wife did and groaned. 🙄

Fun Fact: In February of 2019, another Will, Will Dawson won $70,601. That’s $100 more than this, Will Stewart. Both Wills have won 3 games. Can Will Stewart win his 4th game? We’ll find out.

As a Canadian, that was what I thought. Knowing the beaver is a symbol of Canada, and thinking of a map, it was the only thing that made sense to me!!
