Elly would’ve made it to Final Jeopardy when she had the chance
So unfortunate Elly was unable to participate in Final Jeopardy as a result of forgetting to wear her glasses due to stress. There were lots of moments where Marko and Nam looked dominating.
Two right
Can't believe I actually got it. Total guess. Just the first female Harlem Renaissance author that popped into my head. And I wasn't even sure Harlem Renaissance was the right call either.
My guess was also Hansberry.
I got this Final Jeopardy! clue right.
I ran the category.
Was gonna go with Morrison or Angelou, But they were mostly poets. And yes, I'm old enough to remember Moms Mabley along with comedian Pigmeat Markham. If I remember, they both appeared on Laugh in. Pioneers in the black stand up comedy genre.
I'm very familiar with Moms Mabley, but can't say I've ever heard of the other one you mentioned!!
Morrison was much more of a novelist, but both were born far too late to fit here
I remember Moms Mabley, but not Pigmeat Markham. What a name!
Just once I wish 20th C Authors could indicate the question might be slightly more contemporary!! How about someone after 1980!!
Boo hoo.
This was like a 1992 Final! Jeopardy! Question!
Congratulations nam nguyen on becoming the new jeopardy champion well done
Wow, I vaguely remember Moms Mabley being on talk shows when I was a little kid. I never knew she did serious writing.
Why do I feel like everyone thought it was pointless to have the podiums be together? Wait a minute what I’m saying, of course there’s a point, I hope they bring the podiums back to normal since season 36 next season. Also when will Jeanne Trebek be host too?
Why would Jeanne be host?
@@BlueManIan So that way you can have someone who is the wife of Alex be host! Husband, and then wife.
spoiler push
I missed 2. I watched so many episodes of 'Two and a Half Men' and watched a number of his movies in the 1980s but I'll be darned just went blank on Jon Cryer. I remembered Charlie Sheen but knew it was not him rather....that other guy.
I took a shot in the dark and guessed Zora Neale Hurston! I read her in an American Literature course.
Good 4 u!
No spoilers please
third lol
Zora Neale Hurston, nam Nguyen is a jeopardy champion. Congratulations 🎉
Tricky.
Whenever I see or hear "You'll rue the day" I always think of Neville from iCarly. 😅
I enjoy jeopardy quite a bit
Well I knew Alfred Nobel wasn’t American so Pulitzer was the only one left. Easy one, actually
Well it was 1500’s who else could it be. Rather easy one actually
0:08 What is Squid Game? 0:19 What is Modern Family? 0:31 Who is Chadwick Boseman? 0:42 Who is Jon Cryer? 0:55 Who is Zendaya?
Once again Mike. You are being that guy. Don’t be that guy.
Why do I feel like everyone thought it was pointless to have the podiums be together? Wait a minute what I’m saying, of course there’s a point, I hope they bring the podiums back to normal since season 36 next season.
You keep saying this ad nauseum. Can't you just learn to accept the changes and learn why they did what they did?
@@AaronTheCrystalClod for Covid protocols
@AaronTheCrystalClod unless proven otherwise, I'm going to assume they're a bot
@@TheBlackEternalWings I’m not actually a bot, I’m a real human obviously, and a man, that isn’t my real face though.
@MorganNye oh, so you do know? Not to mention, the crew actually liked the changes and decided to keep them because the spacing of the lecterns fit the wide screen aspect ratio more better and it would be easier making closeups of the contestants with the lecterns seperated.
Missed it. There goes my streak. I guessed 'Detente'. Nope.
This man is a excellent LSAT tutor as well!
