That's a really solid bench Jay. Well done. Should last for many years to come. However, I do feel that we all should always build into our plans the extra overflow bench. For some strange reason it is always necessary !! 👍👍

🌟Thanks Jelle! I will be making some freestanding benches for the side of the yard too, but for ones against the wooden deck, it saves material to tie into the existing structure… plus this last one I knew I’d need to walk on it to get to the top shelf… 🤣

Your bench wouldn’t be so crowded if you didn’t have so many larches 🤣 - send them south. I need to definitely take a power tools class - I use wood working hand tools because my dremmel bit would often go flying off 🤣 Awesome bench!

Daggum, that’s a sturdy bench. Great use if space. You can probably over-winter some trees under it too. And shoot, look at your collection! That’s a lot of fun to be had. I’m diggin it, little bird! Thank you for sharing.

I got wood. Just laying around for months - waiting for me to get off my lazy butt and make some more monkey poles. And then I might need to sneak another couple of benches onto the patio - based on the principle that it is easier to ask forgiveness than permission 😆 That nail gun looks like something out of Quake (obviously age appropriate reference 😆) Ps. Not sure throwing trees at your benches is a good idea…
