You know, I love the fact that you're showing going to exhaustion, not being able to complete 10, etc. A lot of workout videos, it's really about the 'coach' trying to impress the 'students', whereas this feels real, and educational. Makes me respect you far more.

Agreed, it's actually pretty encouraging and motivating for me to see an experienced fitness person working to their limit, that they're not superhuman. 🙂 edit: That said, I probably couldn't even do one pushup with the medium band

This set comes with 5 bands of varying resistance, a storage bag, kzread.infoUgkxS7ex6L4sMqpaTn4LnBPyBmRQsSingL8y a small pamphlet with some sample exercises, and an access code for an online workout video. I haven't viewed the online video, so I cannot speak to the quality of that piece of the set. However, everything else is perfect for what I was looking for. The bands are durable, and the resistance strength varies enough between bands that they're each useful for different exercises and provide a great challenge as you gradually increase the resistance level for certain exercises. The only band I don't use very often is the lowest resistance band, but even that is nice for exercises that target weaker/seldom used muscle groups.

I received a set of band from my brother a few days ago. I spent the next 72 hours looking for an online coach. Thank you James, for the thorough explanations as well as the guidance. Your videos quickly rose to the top. I'm 62 years old and recovering from multiple back surgeries a few years ago. This is perfect on so many levels and for so many healthy reasons as I'm traveling financial consultant and rarely have time to visit a gym, even one if I could build it in my own house.

Every since I started watching James Grage videos, I must say I'm much more fatigue and exhausted when I work out with bands over weights. His videos taught me to the proper techniques and quality reps of my workouts. By far, some of the best things I've learned in my life. Now I love working out. Thank you James for these great videos.

Speaking as someone who is spending a lot of time at home right now, this is a godsend! Also, speaking as someone who actually configures the type of doors you have here, you’re best bet is to thread that door anchor above the butt hinges on the hinge stile of the door! Maximum stability of the door and frame is on those points, and you don’t have to worry about being on the outswing or inswing side of the door!!! Also, the hinges will prevent the anchor from sliding up or down the clearance between the jamb and the stile! Anchoring near the locking mechanism can put undue stress on the latch and cause it to wear or malfunction over time. Hope this helps and thanks for these RBT videos!!!

Protip: when doing push ups if you place your feet top side down instead of standing on your toes (like gymnasts do) you'll shift even more weight to your upper body. Additionally you get a tad of that tibialis anterior stretch which never hurts

There's another factor with pre-stretching the same band for more resistance. Some bands can only handle twice the length to stretch, so there's a point of pre-stretching where your band doesn't stretch but is just being pulled apart and you'll need a heavier band to not break it.

I just purchased a five band set (Sorry, not UnderSun) and videos like this have really helped. I love doing dumbbell exercises like laying chest press (floor not bench) but my 50lb powerblocks are entirely too light. So for the last week I've been finding ways to integrate my bands, and I'm finding that I'd like to use the bands as more than just a finisher or an assist. The more videos I watch the more I want to throw in 1-2 weeks here and there of nothing but band exercises (circuits, heavy traditional formats, HIIT). Thanks for helping a fella find ideas to elevate his training, it's much appreciated.

I have both weights and resistance bands love em both but I can really get a good work out with the bands with weights I really have to gear myself up to use them. I also use more range of motion with resistance bands, therefore, working more of the muscles. I do love my weights though for certain movements.

I found if I twist the bands once or twice then they stay in the middle of my back a little better. Thank you so much for this awesome video! I’m waiting on two sets of bands and they should be here any day. I’ve been using some other kinds but they reek of chemicals

Hey! Great video! I was just wondering about the full finger gloves? Which brand do you use?
