@@jcurbin305 That's just because the human mind is terrible at measuring time when looked at in retrospective. Think about all the things that have happened in the last 28.5 years. Analyze each and every day. It seems like time flew because you are remembering an event in the past and upon seeing the images again, neurologically speaking, the brain processes it as though it were an event that was happening at that moment, as the primitive part of our brain is unable to differentiate past from present, and hence you see that event as though it were actually happening right now, and therefore your brain, by jumping into the present, connects that distant moment to the now and you start to believe that time flies when in fact it did not. A very long time passed. Very very long time.

I was behind that goal watching my Brazil win. What an emotional day. Will never forget it! 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷

Na verdade não. Há uma entrevista em que o Romário fala sobre isso, ele disse que havia batido apenas um ou dois pênaltis até aquele dia, e que não esperava que a bola acertasse a trave.

Everybody remembers Baggio’s miss but not the one of Baresi, the man who missed the entire World Cup because of an injury but struggled to make it to the finals and eventually managed to muzzle both Romario and Bebeto during that match. Baresi and Baggio didn’t deserve that even though Brazil was globally dominant during that match.

It was sweet... and also a lucky shot. Or do you think he was aiming at the pole in that situation 😅. The ball bounced hard from the pole to the goal but only just a tad wider shot would have made it a rebound, and a miss.

Baggio virtually out Italy in the final. Barest marked Romario, didn’t let him score. But eventually their physical effort took its toll in the penalty shootout. Two legends anyway. And Romario, the greatest legend of all.

That penalty still haunts baggio till now although he is a great player

@@Creecle Doesn't matter how many names you mention, Brazilian League was pretty much the best league in the world in the 60s and mid 70s. International Champions Cup proved this. Also, Pele has played against European teams. He's played against English, Spanish, Italian teams. His record was fantastic against European teams. Santos had a great record often winning more than losing. Just for your information, Pele was a National Treasure therefore he wasn't allowed to leave Brazil to play football. Don't mention, Maradona, he didn't play in the 60s and 70s pal.
