@@iwanbottos5128 I think you mean 2014? I didnt care much. To me it was obvious that it was a mental breakdown in the team rather than pure domination. Even German players recognized that Brazil was not in its usual form that day, and if they played again and again that result would not be the same. All the other previous games were pretty stressful, and all stress and anxiety culminated in that game. Without some key players such as Neymar and Thiago Silva, confidence was really low, and stress really high. And honestly, after the 4th goal i started laughing, my little brother however, cried.

No. This squad was very criticized by people's and press of Brazil. Some said :" Brazil was going only for turism into Japan/Korea"... These players was very concerned and didn't give interviews because the critical opinions of press. And they has broken some records, 7 games and 7 wins. 18 goals, only R9 scored the same amount of goals of Spain in 2010(8 goals).

Ronaldinho made me fall in love with football!

I have watched this game 3 times in full length. And have seen the highlights 100 times over, but my heart still breaks into pieces when I see Oliver Kahn's face but then my heart light's up with joy when I see R9 and R11's buck-toothed smiles.

2002 was when I fell in love with soccer. Maybe I'm biased, but I think of the people on the field - Kahn, Klose, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, Roberto Carlos, Pierluigi Colina - all legends. And ouside the field too, Rudi Völler and Luiz Felipe Scolari; an absolutely goated match.

Brazil were a 100% fit and brilliantly talented team while Germans came as strugglers in this WC had the most unfit squad, were unbearable to watch in Euros, GS exits in Euros, draws with teams like Latvia, Kahn being injured in the final still made extra ordinary performance. Taking nothing away from Brazil, Germans are extra ordinarily a great footballing nation

This was my first WC and I still remember it vividly -- the entire tournament, not just this game. I was 11 years old and living in Taiwan, so the combination of being at the right age to start watching sports and the tournament being close to home made it the first major international sports tournament that I ever payed close attention to. Looking back almost two decades later, I think this was indeed a special WC, from a number of surprising early exits (France, Argentina, Italy), Casillas's heroic performance v Ireland, Korea cheating their way to the semi-final, and the fastest ever goal in WC history, etc. to the abundance of dark horses (USA, Korea, Turkey, Senegal). But in the end, arguably the two best football nations made it to the final. All in all a wholesome WC viewing experience.

Imagine being Kahn in this match: You know that only thanks to your efforts a weak team has managed to enter the finals. You have held every possible ball but now, you have to face the first big football nation in the entire worldcup. And then.. you make this one mistake everybody will talk about for years. I know Brazil deserved to win this WC, but imagine Germany had won: Then Oliver Kahn would be the reason for their victory. Not because he scored the goals, but because he made sure the opponents didn't score ANY goals. And this absolutely incredible. For me, Oliver Kahn's solo performances were the greatest in the entire WC history. All Hail King Kahn!

I'm German and was in Italy after the WC. We were all wearing faked Brazil jerseys and played with Ronaldo/Ronaldinho/Rivaldo on our backs. The Brazil squad was just amazing and we, although we're Germans, became big "fans" of this side! 2006 and 2010 were much more bitter losses...

@@TheLuxentertainment South Korea’s wallet ran dry and they couldn’t afford to buy the ref anymore. Or Fifa didn’t want an asian country in the final. Just look at Spain v S. Korea from the same world cup, two goals from Spain were wrongly counted offside. If Fifa wanted to, they could have taken Ballack’s goal away, then forced the game into penalties.

Even though it was terrible WC for Argentina, my country, in the end I was glad for Ronaldo, one of my favorite players.

I can not remember, that Germany had so many (half) chances, mainly in second half. But Brasil was more effective. Ronaldinho was superbe. What a player.

As a Brazilian, I congratulate Germany for 7x1 in 2014, but I also have to say that 2002 Will never be forgotten. Brazil and germany is a classic match of world cup history

Besides, you guys need to stop relying on Neymar and Thiago Silva too much and start play like a team like a Brazil 2002. That's why Brazil 2002 won this tournament because they play as the team, not relying on one player like Brazil 2014 team does.

@@OscarHernandez18600 no they will not lose. Neymar won Germany in rio Olympics 2016. Again Brazil won them in friendly in 2018. This is Brazil 2014 not Brazil 2002 or 2006 where there are full of superstars.

1:41 now that is a superb pass, just between the two defenders, just in the right spot for Ronaldo to score...sadly he didnt.

the second goal was beautiful, really perfect teamwork. rivaldo didn't take the ball look likes he saw ronaldo on the left. its about opportunity between him or ronaldo that could possible make a goal.

This is from 20 years ago but I was watching it like it is on live TV😂😂

As a German I can say that it was a miracle to reach the final. This team was one of the worst in german history beside Kahn

Sigh......how time flies. I remember watching Kahn sitting motionless by the goalpost after the final whistle with tears in my eyes, too embarassed to cry because the room was full of family and friends 😊
