Latrina Lenae Thank you!! I do about 8 to 10 twist. I find the braids give more of a crinkle look and twist give more of wavy look.

I am now reducing my braid loc size as I want more fullness.

Hey girl hey, your locs are looking good🥰 be careful with that salt water, that's used mostly for people who have straight hair or very curly hair. U dont want to dry your hair out.

LashawnTerry Hey Thank you!! The spray hasn’t dried my hair out at all. I’ve had my hair in salt water all the time because I LOVE the beach and never had a problem. Even my loose hair. I’ll keep an eye on it though. Thanks for the info.

At the time, did you retwist within your two months?

Do you do your own re-tightening or does the same young lady who did your install do it. Your hair looks beautiful.

Robin F As of now I had 2 reties. One by my installer and one by another lady that does Sisterlocks. I’m planning on taking over doing my own reties from now on. We’ll see how this goes. 😬

I have new braid locks but they’re thicker, about only 16. Will they be too big? I feel like the root dread will look bigger than my braided hair so I might have to redo them to about like 20-21

Wow! Much larger than mine. It really all depends on the look you want. Most say that the Loc will mature into the size is the base of the Loc or base of the parted section. Many use this as a guide. Good luck to you on your journey

I have two strand twist locs but I am thinking about braiding my ends because they keep scribbling up

Temicka Try a few and see how you like it. Braids are definitely shrink less than twist. Good luck. 😊

jAzZyStAr1000 The person that installed them asked me not to quote price because the price will be different for each person based on hair length and density. I will say that for me it was half the price of what I was quoted for Sisterlocks. I hope that helps.

The stitching on the braids is so tight that it seems the braid pattern will take a very very long time to eventually fade, and start looking like locs

HEIGHTSLAND HOMES it probably will. I’m ok with it right now. It’s much more noticeable on camera and in pictures. In person people always call them Sisterlocks
