Yes same here I’m watching with a fro but babe it’s going down. Def hair goals. Done with the perms I’m at 6 inches natural and don’t care. I’m doing it 🙌🏾 💕💕🙏🏾🙏🏾

Your voice is just so soothing and you have a calming presence to me. I LOVE YOUR LOCS! (I love doing the bare minimum with my hair too) I tried freestyle locs just before covid but I cut it during quarantine and I have been looking into more micro locs. You are a great inspiration

I started my microlocs because of your videos. I had traditional palm rolled locs about 9 years ago and I knew I wanted something smaller. I am about 6 or 7 months in and I love it. I also use the twisting gel you recommended. Thanks for all the insight. Many blessings.

You inspired me to go on this journey. I haven't started yet but I plan to this weekend. My hair is already pretty long so I am starting with 2 strand twist, which I wear on a regular anyway. I am scared as hell. I have been growing my hair for 12 years so doing something so "permanent" is scary. But I just prefer something less chaotic than all this loose hair on my head.

I start my micro loc journey on the 9th. my hair length is 6 to 8 inches. My hair is thick, so she said I'll have a minimum of 400 locs. I'm so excited.

The question about how u deal with thinning locs was my question...surprisingly i already combined them😂i did it last week and its better off like that even tho its big but thank you for that lil advice ig🙌🏽

Hi I started my locs but didn't like how it cam out but when I say you I start it over and did it myself and loving it right now I started locking for the products you use lol I know I may not get my hair to look like yours but its worth a try .....one question what can I us on m scalp? Its a bit dry

Hi! Lovely locs! How do you keep the ends from being suuuuper curly? I see some two strand microlocs that are pretty much all curl lol

Girl i thought it was just me... I retie my micro locs and at the very first wash after retie, my edges/perimeter comes fully loose.🤦🏽‍♀️ I stopped conditioning and moisturizing which helped my hair loc a bit faster and not unravel every wash day. But I find when I moisturize that my hair looks shinier and healthier. Will start moisturizing again soon. I'm 8 months in.

Thank you so much! I kinda knew what I wanted from my last set. The parts were to big then, so I knew I wanted them smaller for this set. I really just used my eyes, and tried to keep the parting the same size. I can try to make a video about it!

Would you suggest cutting the hair to the shape that you want before starting or tomorrow plus you say go ahead and lock it and cut it at a later date???

⚘1st. What color is ur lipstick? 💄❓🤔 Your eyebrows & ur lips look goooooood! You are GORGEOUS! And I love how ur hair looks in every style. I have hair for days. I've never known how to comb it, so pony tail is my go to, usually on the top toward the front, or/ a scarf & go🙆🏽‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️ I don't have a specific question, I ran across ur channel & loved it👍🏾- I had been thinking about getting my hair braided because I noticed as I'm aging my hair is thinning or it seems limp or something IDK 🙄 And when I've gotten it braided in the past my hair has gotten thicker, longer, & it seems to heal or repair itself. - When I saw ur channel I saw so many styles that I liked & a couple that I believe would work for me. The Spring Twist was one & the one that looks like a curly fro. I believe if I keep watching you eventually you will encourage me to try something! - I think U are dynamic, STAY ENCOURAGED & keep up the good work . 👊🏾 YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL SIS.💋 💋

Hey! I don’t do anything to my hair, I let her loc on her own naturally. My ends stayed curly, I don’t do anything to them

How do you cope with frizzy hair? My micro locs are 3 months in and I’ve been struggling with frizz..

I don’t do anything to the frizz, I actually love it! Frizzing is part of the process. You’ve gotta let you hair do her thing!

They curl up naturally on their own, I don’t do anything to them

I'm not sure if you've filmed part 2 yet but could you add this question: Are you a serious victim of Hand in Hair syndrome? And how do you combat it? Coz I am and I don't know what to do, 11mnths in. My left hand finds itself there alwaaaaaaays, esp when in the office. I'm starting to get worried that its contributing to dryness which I've been feeling of late.

Can I just ask. How much will you pay for a retie if you went to a hairdresser. I have about 350 locs and I feel like I got scammed cos I was charged £150/$200 for a retie. Is this the normal price. Please anyone, your feedback will be appreciated

I live in Canada and I can tell you the hairdresser I plan to go to charges by the hour and based on their hourly rates, retie/retwist would probably cost that much, maybe even a bit more. Locs are great but maintaining through a loctitian is expensive 😫

I would suggest joining a local hair group on Facebook (specifically for black hair) so you can compare prices in the area, get real reviews and feedback, I feel like asking on KZread is so broad because prices vary by region, and we’re an international community. Hope this helps! ☺️

I have sisterlocks and my consultant charges$100 for 4-5 weeks and her consultant who I had to use last $120 4-6 weeks both rates coves 4 hours of appointment time. Unfortunately the rates are not regulated so everyone charges differently

How many months out of your journey did you interlock?
