BRABUS INVICTO - The Four-Wheeled Fortress | Full Documentary

Ғылым және технология

Armored SUVs are enjoying great popularity. Brabus, a company based in Bottrop, Germany, transforms standard G-Class models into fully armored special protection vehicles. The combination of full armor, made of hot-forged steels, and special glazing gives the colossal car the certificate of protection class VR6, which is mandatory for state limousines, for example. Our documentary presents the impressive vehicle fabrications and shows their special features.

The yellow pen used on the fasteners is not only to show it's been tested. It's also a visual aid to easily inspect the car later on to see if vibration or other forces have twisted the fastner loose so it can fall off. They set a mark on the head of the fastener, then on the structure to where the fastener is anchored. If those do not line up, tightening of the bolt is needed. This way several years down the line a quick visual inspection will tell if thing still is tight or in need of tightening.

Today it's long gone and everything you non-german people know is the marketing of it. Even here many germans are switching to other non german car brands more and more because they realize that others are as equally good or even better. You only buy a Mercedes, BMW and Audi for prestige or the look of the car not because of superior quality. Trust me on that.

The front passenger door is not fully closed at 43:50min. This is a common occurrence during the use of armoured vehicles. I wonder if the vehicle's tech applies to such a crucial nuance and alerts the driver/co-driver. Aside from the risk of compromising the security in such a situation, there is a real risk of damaging door hinges, which, long term, compromises the liquid tightness of the vehicle

The emergency hatch needs a viewing port for concealed covered firing by security . It doesn't lay flat and since it is up and provides front cover and concealment depending whether that is armored or not. Otherwise the must have for all rich who spend on exotics when they need this .

Very nice vehicle for the safety of the riders only thing now is that it would seem as though a cage/prison is being built for its inhabitants when things go south; this documentary didn't cover that. Also, does the roof have to stay open at all times when using the drone?

Love it this documentary, super-interesting. Now, considering all the time that it takes to disassembly a full produced G unit, would it be better if the factory ships partially completed cars, e.g. without the doors, and interior parts installed ? (besides everything else that is upgraded)

This is fantastic the perfection of the vichele is incredible But I have a suggestion for improvement The safety exit is nice for passenger And should be open when it's needed to, but not for drone Coz that will be a great advantage for the ennimes, because as soon as u open the emergency exit for the drone, immediately if ur ennimes have knowledge of it, then he/she will immediately sent a greenheads into the emergency exit. My suggestion is that they should design a secret exit for the drone too, where it can take off and land easily, safely, and secretly.
