ALPINA LUXURY BMWs With Maximum Horsepower | Full Documentary
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Since 1965, the Alpina company has made it its business to make selected BMW models more unique. New components are sometimes developed for the conversions, some of which are manufactured in-house at the main plant in Buchloe, not far from Munich. Each Alpina vehicle must pass numerous quality and performance tests before it is released for series production. The report accompanies the production of a BMW Alpina B7 and a BMW SUV Alpina XB7.

As a proud Alpina owner and stickler for attention to detail, I LOVE THE ALPINA TUNNING AND ASSEMBLY FAMILY! 🫠🫠🫠
This full documentary about how Alpina started her career, is a dream to see and hear. I'm so overjoyed that they did it. And a big thank you to everyone who made it possible.

Too bad the engine design is junk. BMW hasn't figured out how to fix a simple oiling issue inside the engine. Seriously would you want to spend $ 160,000 for a vehicle that starts developing engine issues around 30,000 miles? Buy a Japanese luxury vehicle and get your money's worth. Anything German built is a disaster.
@rudymeow

When people eyeing for a BMW they aren't as concerned about the maintenance cost as most, they usually aware eventually they would spend another $60,000 for the $160,000 car. It is truth that Japanese vehicle are way more economical, but they are never as fun to drive tho.
I grew up in a BMW family. I always thought that BMW's sportiest models such as the M cars were at the pinnacle. I was of the opinion "why would you want to deface and modify an already beautiful BMW?" I think that this documentary has well and truly changed my opinion on this now. What an awesome car!
My absolute joy to watch this fantastic documentary!

Yes, I agree: all other countries need to stop being such speed-fascists and give their people the freedom which we can see from Germany's example works so well and in fact isn't dangerous despite what authoritarian leaders lie to us about it. (Oh, and Isle of Man as well, though there they don't have motorways, there roads outside villages have no speed limit.)

I’ve been looking forward to an Alpina documentary, and it’s finally here. It’s great!
That’s why we love the German engineering. Definitely love and remember the old team which showed the new young guys what real engineering is. Love and will always remember that day

Alpina and Brabus....just a two legendary tuners
@denzidk5628

Alpina is not a tuner
@rolandsuch
2 жыл бұрын
@@denzidk5628 Define a tuner, several German vehicle enhancers are also registered vehicle manufacturers. For example, Alpina, Brabus, Oettinger, Abt…. etc. AMG was also an enhancer and registered vehicle manufacturer before they were purchased by Daimler and became part if Mercedes Benz. So when does a tuner stop being a tuner and become something else?

Definitely, they only offer expensive leather nowadays
這應該是近幾年以來,描述這家獨特車廠最豐富多彩的影片。
That's no normal BMW. This 7-Series model flies the Alpina flag. This vehicle manufacturer from southern Germany is one of the most exclusive automotive brands in the world, much of the tremendous power boost is already achieved at the BMW plants and the final assembly ultimately occurs at the factory in the Allgäu. A power symbiosis where the two horsepower blacksmiths both benefit. BMW and Alpina, it's a relationship that's already 55 years old. Established in the 1960s, the family business still builds luxury cars in small series to this day. Bavarian luxury cars with the driving dynamics of super sports cars, distinctive aerodynamics packages, high performance engines, powerful brake systems, 100 modified parts make series production models into exclusive racing machines. Many of Alpina's innovative developments were born on the racetrack and first road tested by motorsport legends.
Well done documentary. This finally answers the question, is Alpina just a 'tuning shop' or an actual manufacturer that partners with BMW!! Now the question is get an Alpina BMW or a car from the M sport division of BMW??
This is awesome
Noticed NO Alplina made no AC/Radiator and other coolers attached to the motor test stations at all, so making a larger radiator,cooling for auto transmission etc etc, plus A/C is it on or off and where does the A/C air go to? Is it tested at all, ?
Another banger!!! Cant wait for a Mitsubishi docu

Your pronouncing of German names is perfect!
I was lucky enough to have owned a B10 Bi-Turbo E34, the car had some modifications which took it to 530 bhp with over 1000nm of Torque
Great content from Alter video
@13:05 It's impressive how his wheeling a BMW X7 with one hand like you would steer a suitcase at the airport....thats crazy. Didn't even know such a jack existed. With that type of jack aka electric forklift you don't need a tow truck in the event your vehicle breaks down. It be so comical dragging your broken down car on the shoulder lane in a busy highway.
The best in Europe manu
Alpina XB7 really nice

amazing
Automakers should make a program that can be used during the Real Driving Emissions and other tests that allows engineers to drive around on a game like Forza, Gran Turismo or any driving game for consoles or PC and transfers that driving data to the vehicle being tested where it replicates those commands in real time. If they just had an open world game design with random traffic patterns and they could just drive around, even Grand Theft Auto would work, it would probably give them the most reliable testing and data they could hope for. Plus it would make these guy’s jobs a lot more fun.
You don’t want to smash that front bumper 7:56 . Must cost a fortune to fix and even a hustle to get the parts. Still an awesome looking machine though. 😁👍
Was that a gold “muffler” in the room where they were stress testing the engine
What new air ducts for the brakes, it goes directly though the front cooler for the transmission or auto, still a water with coolant in it, thus the airflow would be around the 50 degree mark, but then again in Germany the heat in summer is not that hot, like to see the versions they make for the UAE ,which is over 50 degree c most days basically driving you 7 serries BMW in the desert everyday?
I would love if the cooler could be protected by some mesh bc it is exposed to stone impacts and that costs so much money.
The less said of the Alpina Z8, the better!
Superb
Alpina is indeed an amaing car. As long as somebody else owns it.

The best thing about new Alpina is they use the Msport body kit now which looks much better then the SE base, the old ones didnt look bad with SE at all, as se and m tech wasnt to diffrent atall. Hoping we get a m sport xB7 and B7 next ;)
I still dream about picking a b7 up cheap in 20 years
Great story and craftmanship. But I'm still a Mercedes-Benz / AMG lover
Finally a car documentary..... Plz post an english version for Rolls Royce 🇰🇪🇰🇪
Als Alpina Fahrer vermisse ich den B5 Touring in der Doku. Ein Alpina kauft man doch hauptsächlich um schnell und sicher mit Gepäck von A nach B zu kommen.
lol transmission cooler added, yet the temp is the same with out it, why because they are connected to the radiators coolant, ie: coolant keeps the temp down plus air flow, even in 50 degree c days the transmission oil temp will only get as high as the coolant, which is so important to make sure the radiator coolant is up to spec?
The B7 base is only buildt in Dingolfing where all the high class models as the M4, the 5, 7, 8 Series are made. Also the iX is made here if you call a EV a car and not a washmashine with four tires...
9:41 the man is listening to "pump it up" remix 🤣🤣
