Nothing equates investing and when it's done properly, you don't need to get all worked up about money any more as it creates a lot of extra income.

I love my Macan. I've driven BMW, Mercedes and Audi, but the Macan is the best car I've ever owned.

Recently gir my first Porsche - a Cayenne twin turbo 4.5 v8 monster and I absolutely love it. You can tell it's much better put together than just about any other car I have had - that includes Mercedes, Jaguar, Range Rover, Ford etc etc. It's quite old now but still no nasty rattles or other problems. I hope to keep it for a good while, unless I win the lottery, in which case a Macan beckons.

Great video. I'm a happy Macan owner. I think 911 and Macan are the best cars made by Porsche now. After 9 years, there is still no sporty suv as well rounded as my 18 Macan GTS. Adding air suspension to a small suv is magical. If Porsche decides to make another generation of ICE Macan, please make it lighter and with stronger timing cover bolts and transfer case.

the transfer case issue was fixed in 2019 i believe. The 3rd gen Macan S/GTS with the 2.9 is also amazingly reliable - and sounds amazing as well :).

This just made me realize that Robots are not taking our jobs but actually helping us to perform dangerous tasks. For example welding alone is harmful to your eyes even if you use protection, even the welding smoke harm your lungs.

Not saying this is quite the same, but when steam engines were introduced in the weaving (clothing) industry, there was an upset and riot from workers. What we ended up with, was a much larger demand and a lot more workers in the industry.

I own a 2016 Macan Turbo. It is 7 years old now with 90,000 miles. It drives and feels as nice today as when I bought her 7 years ago. Fun, quiet, comfortable, fast, gorgeous, and really well made.

I just purchased a 2022 Macan with the Premium Plus package and some other bells and whistles that it was spec'd with. All the car I could want and need as a daily. Even just as a base. I'm enamored by the craftsmanship.

Watched this after watching the Mazda manufacturing, now I understood why Porsche is much much expensive than a Mazda

What craftsmanship and technology executed and used.

I had a 1999 Boxster, Convert, white/ Manual..... It was so much fun, so well made, so great to drive. Mid engine made the car feel invincible.

The Germans really understand car making

I love that Nick Mickan works on the Macan line. Love my 2021 Turbo. Small back seat but A+ everywhere else.

Reminds me of Le Mans blue on the 69 Corvette. The car the astronauts on the Apollo program drove. My mountain bike is a similar color. Might be buying a Macan GTS in this color.

I love German engineering, I had Audi and BMW in the past, for some reason I'm relying on a French brand but unfortunately this is not the same.., I can't wait to get back to one of these cars again.

Thanks for the GREAT video. My Macan GTS is currently on the Sunshine Ace Car Carrier in the North Atlantic and scheduled to dock on 4/20. It was amazing to see all the steps it took to build one of the best Sport SUVs in the world.

It was amazing. Im whatcing from turkey. Really good job. At first very complicated but afterwards everything goes smoothly.

Did I hear that right or was I mistaken? 400 robots making 400 car bodies out of 400 individual parts and they have 400 employees?

My 2016 Porsche Macan S is sublime. All my friends with new vehicles and Teslas are envious. Porsche (and the rest of VW AG) makes Tesla’s build quality look like something made by Fisher Price.

Leased one of these recently. Very well built and bad fast!

Very impressive specs of both car and assembly. Truly a work of art and science. An assembly line which doesn't stop for a break. Only blemish I can think of is whether the robots were instructed to install cheat software by the humans.

There is no Diesel option on the Macan, so your precious trees are safe from cheats.

When robots strike, can management fill in?

Porsche Macan looks like Austin Allegro, British mechanical masterpiece from the 70's.

What if these robots stop taking orders, re-program themselves, and escape from the factory? this is a dangerous precedent.

Thats why there are people like me, Industrial Automation and Controls Engineers. We keep the robots from taking over the world. Or, program them to be our mechanical minions, depending on the pay.

I think lexus allow the production line to be stopped if they see something thats needs improvement because quality comes first. Porsche quality is also very good , but lexus production is also very good.

Hmmm....I find it fascinating when you compare this "automated factory" with the facility used to build the new Bugattis, especially the awesome Chiron Super Sport 300+. They are entirely hand built and the performance specs are out of this world. The videos are available here on KZread, along with the one of their breaking of the 300 mph barrier for production sport cars. (490.5 kph=304.8 mph)

Only applies to a very small number of cars with small single race bearings . I have owned Porsche`s all my life and yet to encounter any problems. Numerous 911 models, Cayman, Boxster, Cayenne etc...

No wonder my Macan cost soo much. Worth it!

I live in Leipzig and im ashamed that i didnt know about this factory. I only knew about the BMW factory because i did my intern there lol

If you intend to keep a paint job as meticoulous as this is you'll need to have the car hand washed every single time. Don't run this vehicle through your local car wash or all that precision paint job goes out the window.

I spent many years at BMW dealer. Many Customers regularly used automated car washes and ruined their paint. (especially obvious on dark colors).

The dealer ruins the car's paint before the customer ever gets it. When you buy your car or even before you do they hire high school kids to wash it. Do you really thing those kids professionally wash it? No. They hand wash it crappily or drive it down the block to the automated car wash. This is why when you buy a car make sure they don't wash. Get one with the white plastic still on the hood and roof.

Is it just me or does that cafeteria food look delicious? I bet it's amazing, I mean come on its from Porsche and only costs $4.34

Yeah, but by the time a worker gets to the cafeteria, gets the food, pays for it, and finds a table, he/she only has 3 minutes to eat then has to run back to their work station or they will be late.
