Some parts of this documentary has a mistranslation. I dunno if it was not intentional, but the nuances of the language they're using are not properly translated. The lady in the market is very empathetic and feels for them, she even gave them extra meat. Her tone is that of a worried tough mom, this can't be easily translated in English language. Same thing with the guy who gave them shirts. He's not making fun of them at all, if anything, he's both being playful and accommodating. He's trying to make the moment light and fun. Now where in his words were any hint or tone of mockery to this family. This would've been a good documentary if it's not trying so hard to paint everyone bad. 😂😅

In some countries, you would have enough to feed yourself and maybe some relatives with this amount. Yet in most developped countries (where we watch this from), that amount is probably barely enough to stay alive, provided one sleeps outside or in free shelters, has access to some public water and only buy the most basic food (bread).
