Took an unwarranted break from my daily chronological reading plan but by His grace, I've returned to it. Finally finished 1 Chronicles and ngl, it wasn't easy seeing David, the only man described as a man after God's own heart, mess up. I have to remind myself that the Redemption story is no more of an overnight one for any individual, much less whole people groups and that God is working behind the scenes through it all. God, help me to see You through the really dark passages (Judges, all the exiles, etc) and not to shrink from them in despair. Help me instead to see how much we needed Jesus and to remember He can be glimpsed throughout the OT.

Even Salomon with all his wisdom fail and did evil things in God's eyes. It's sad to see the destructive cycle of our sins. The only thing that gives us hope is God's love and mercy that renew each day. We fail and then we repent and we keep going. Only in Jesus we can do anything apart from Him we are nothing. We are being mold in God's hands all the time until we are with Him forever and sins is destroyed.

Side note: The Kingdom of Judah *wasn't* inhabited by the tribe of Judah *alone*. | Along with them lived the entire tribe of *Benjamin*, the entire tribe of *Levi*, and many people from the tribes of *Simeon*, *Ephraim* and *Manasseh* (A.K.A. *Joseph*), who had defected to Judah because of the idolatry in Northern Israel (*2 Chronicles 15:9*). | Apart from this, after Northern Kingdom Israel fell to the Assyrians, there were a few Israelites who were not taken captive. | 2 Chronicles 30 even shows us how *King Hezekiah* of Judah invited many Northern Israelities to a Passover Feast after Assyria laid siege to Israel. Members from *Asher*, *Issachar*, *Zebulun*, and *Joseph* go to Jerusalem to celebrate. | In *2 Chronicles 34:6-9*, it explains that all the Northern Israelites that remained after the Assyrians took the rest captive, immigrated to *Southern Kingdom Judah*. I bring this up because a lot of people mistakenly believe that only the descendants of Judah remained, and that all other tribes of Israel were either wiped out, or got completely lost among other peoples of the world. | This is mostly because at one point the Israelites (regardless of tribe) starting calling themsleves "Jews", a term often associated with *Judah*. An example of this is how Queen Esther of the tribe of *Benjamin* called herself a "Jewess". | Revelation 7:4-8 tells us that God keeps track of all 12 tribes. | If you wanna read more about it, check out "What Happened to the Lost Tribes of Israel?" at gotquestions.org, and "The 12 Tribes of Israel: A Quick Guide" over at overviewbible.com. Both great articles.

Guys thank you so much for your channel and all the information. How long are you studying The Bible? Your knowledge of Gods word and plan is incredible. I have been strugling with understanding since I started. Few days of watching this channel and I understand the whole message and the point of the Bible. Thanks to this I was able properly explain to my non-christian friends. Thank you once again guys for everything.

The story of Mannaseh is rather amazing. Particularly the end. Mannaseh humbled himself before the Lord and repented, and the Lord forgave him. From there, Mannaseh truly turned his actions around. I hate what Mannaseh did, but I love that God is willing to forgive, even the worst, most heinous crimes if we truly turn to Him, and turn away from sin. Praise God!

I didn't think i had an educated opinion on the bible, so i decided to search, "how to read the bible" and I found this channel. I've always had so many theories and suspicions about life, while at the same time maintaining a faithful relationship with with God at the best of my ability. With that being said, its chilling how I am only this far into the Old Testament and I feel as if these videos are speaking to me and the questions ive had about the nature of life and our existence through out my life.

Holy Spirit= set apart Father has called us to be different from the world. But most don’t get this. It’s about being different and returning to Hebraic roots of faith. Not about man made religion or denominations. But the gospel is truly about freedom from slavery and sinless life, much like what happened to Israelites in Egypt with Moses. Seek the kingdom! The king shall return. :)

It's my first time reading the Bible in its entirety and I just can't believe how patient the Lord God is. I couldn't help but weep that Jerusalem was destroyed. It just saddened me how the Israelites disobeyed again and again but that's how we are. Thank God for sending his new covenant for all. We have a new hope in Jesus Christ. Israel will always belong to YHWH.
