I’m an Assyrian and although it makes me sad of how my people treated the Jews I also feel happy and full of hope that God is also changing the hearts of the Assyrians. God saved me and I’m forever thankful ! Praise God ! Hallelujah 🙌🏼🙌🏼

I never used to believe in Jesus. I had a very “arian” view where I believed he was a morale leader but NOT God. Since accepting Christ as my savior however I have been revisiting the Old Testament and it could not be clearer that Jesus is all over the old testament.

Jesus wasn’t born till after the Old Testament! So in the Old Testament he appears as the Lord or God

@@edwardmartinez1537 Right. But I think Luma is referring to all of the prophesies of Jesus' birth that are in the OT.

Notice that the first 39 chapters (like the 39 books of OT) contain tellings of God’s judgment on the nations for their sin, and the last 27 chapters (like the 27 books of NT) contain a prophecy of hope, as well as a story of a prophesied birth of a baby. When I first learned that I was speechless, it’s too perfect. Isaiah is like a mini Bible of sorts.

I have felt that Isaiah was the most powerful of the Old Testament books. As a sinner I felt God pointing the finger at me while reading Isaiah.

At the time of Isaiah it doesnt work, the ot has divisions that were made later, like Samuel 1 and 2 that are a single book, so its just a coincidence of how we separate the books now

These videos definitely need to circulate more. I find that even though the’re a lot of Christians in America, many know very little about the Word of God and Christian theology, which really isn’t good. Keep up the good work!

Many Christians Don’t even know that the Whole book of Isaiah is about the Israelites as the suffering servant Not jesus. Isaiah 41:14 ‎Fear not, O worm Jacob, O men of Israel: I will help you -declares the LORD- I your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. 42:6 ‎I the LORD, in My grace, have summoned you, And I have grasped you by the hand. I created you, and appointed you A covenant people, a light of nations- 42:8 ‎I am the LORD, that is My name; I will not yield My glory to another, Nor My renown to idols. 43:1 ‎But now thus said the LORD- Who created you, O Jacob, Who formed you, O Israel: Fear not, for I will redeem you; I have singled you out by name, You are Mine.

Daniel Chen Yes and There is No christian theology at all in the book of Isaiah. Everything is about the Israelites and their relationship with Elohim. The Israelites are Gods chosen and suffering servant while they are exiled and waiting for the return when the Messiah will be anointed.

I agree however, next to these videos (which I LOVE), we all should read the Bible too cause the Bible explains it way more in debt! For instance why God actually hardened their hearts and some more stuff in the book of Isaiah we can apply to our daily lives such as: not being greedy by taking everything and not leaving for others or not turning to God first to seek help (if The Holy Spirit lives in you He will def highlight a huge part we can apply in our lives!!)

Me two, I started in the NT and am now in the OT. Just finished reading Isaiah, next up Jeremiah.

When I became a Christian in 2004 the verse that really touched my heart for some reason and is still one of my favorites Isaiah 12:2 King James Version (KJV) 2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. Was sort of a anchor for my soul when I was going through some really hard times.

I listen to this 19 times and I fell in love with Jesus

I love this. Sometimes I struggle to understand exactly what I'm reading in the Bible (especially the old testament). I've started to watch these videos before I start reading a new book of the Bible and it has made all the difference in my understanding of what I read.

@@BaconPizza Yes, that's really important because some people are putting out false teachings. Derek Prince is also a great source. I have some of his books and follow KZread recordings. Also, Kevin Ewing. He's a solid Bible teacher. So is Anita Etta. Both on KZread.

This is just so unbelievably clear. The Holy Spirit has gifted this organization. Our generation is so blessed to have this kind of scriptural tutoring.. Surely we have no excuse for ignorance of God's word with the Bible Project only a finger tap away!!

I find that it facilitates the understanding of some very complex concepts. I look at/listen to their summations and explanations before I listen to each book as it's read by Alexander Scourby.

I marvel at men like Isaiah. To stand when there was so much against him and the God he knew was supreme.

I'm going through the entire Bible for the first time in my life and Isaiah has been a big struggle for me to understand, but these videos are so insightful and help me so much to digest the meaning of what I'm actually reading. Thank you so much brother and keep up the good work!

My favorite passage: Isaiah 6:2-14 Above him were seraphim, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. 3 And they were calling to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.” 4 At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke. 5 “Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.” 6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. 7 With it he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.” 8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? Sometimes, our goals are truly and well beyond our reach. But, that does not mean one should give up. But rather to keep trying. A simple message.

🙌🔥Isaiah- "I'm done for" -- God -"no you're purified" Reminds me of how in life -getting closer to God is usually through what we see as hardship.

This really helped out with my college course. Thanks so much. Reading the bible is pretty difficult especially when getting quizzed on it and this is an excellent study tool.

OK so I have been a doing the "year thru the bible" for the third time. (YouVersion) Tonight when I saw I would be in the book of Isaiah I got excited. I mean really excited like my favorite movie coming on excited 😁 This time around for the first time in a l o n g time, I am learning so much about God's character, intentions and his LOVE 💘 They had a link to you guys for the devotional. I agree, that's exactly what poped into my mind. Great outline or study guide.

Isaiah is one of the longest book in the. Bible. I get a lot of encouragement from it. I enjoy the Amplified version of the scriptures its more easily understood and interpreted.

I love this, thank you. It makes it easier to follow along with the bible when you already understand the story.

What if I tell you, that there's a trifecta in isaiah's vision?It hasn't finished.The very first chapter.the daughter of Zion a besieged city.Look at the map.What surrounded the mount of olives?Do you have the bold to speak up the truth?God wanted you to save children of God from the beast.The beasts that surrounding Mount of Olives.God's footstall. Look up the hebrew word for sinful nation in isa 1:4.Nation.go'-ee.a foreign nation,meaning the different belief.a troop of animal, you have to understand the 1st book of enoch 89.a flight of locusts, beel-zebub. Ask for the spirit of God,and you shall see the Truth.Great multimedia.But bolden the message.For Isaiah vision didn't stop at Jesus.And the same goes for all prophecies,up until John's.

I am currently reading 2 Kings and it is amazing that the Lord through Isaiah has said all this in spite of the people's stubbornness. Manasseh, son of Hezekiah, is a great story that shows just how much love God has for us. Even though the Bible describes his acts as great evil, when he repented, the Lord forgave him and made him prosper. This just shows that the Lord loves us truly and has faith so great that He always has plans for us to be in a better place, even if we ourselves refuse it. Praise God, thank you for Your unending Grace and love.

The future king spoken of in 2 Sam 7 is Solomon. He built the 1st Temple. it is very important to read Scripture in context and in large portions in order to understand what the prophet is saying.

Yes, but Solomon and the structural temple is a type and shadow, (foreshadowing) of Jesus.

This is so cool it has taken me a while to get through the old testament and I know Isaiah is complicated, but I hope to learn through the Holy Spirit the meaning and then apply to my life.
