Sorry to tell you because you won't want to know but Yehoshua is Christ and he is the seed because he was to be born again. In the First Coming as Yehoshua the Son of Yahuveh came to save His People from their sins. In the second coming as the seed Yehoshua is given a new name meaning when translated 'Yahveh' Is With Us' this is clearly seen to be TRUE by Matthew 1:21 regarding the First Coming, and verses 22, 23 the Second Birth as known by religious hierarchy although they keep it hidden. That name is Emmanuel who is anointed to rule over earth as prophesied Luke 1:45 when another virgin being an Alma or newly married woman would give birth. On that day Emmanuel is caught up to heaven to prepare for rulership over the earth. No one can stop His second coming as the righteous seed. .

@Christiaan Baron , ah, but he is coming again in glory, as true judge and King of kings. He himself declares in the Book of Revelation, "Behold I make all things new." And many of the themes that we find in Isaiah about the nations finally returning to God, we see in Revelation at the very end of the book ( just as we do at the very end of Isaiah). In the four Gospels is where you get to know this Jesus who is the suffering servant of Isaiah, as well as the glorious king who will someday reign and restore all creation.

I concur! I had read the Bible, genesis through Song of Solomon, and the New Testament twice, but I just couldn't get the prophets. I forced myself through some of the minors, like Jonah and Malachi, but the majors still loomed there, intimidating and unknowable. These videos, along with an audio bible and following along in my physical bible, are helping me through them finally.

Isaiah 66: 24 24"Then they will go forth and look On the corpses of the men Who have transgressed against Me. For their worm will not die And their fire will not be quenched; And they will be an abhorrence to all mankind." I just finished reading the book of Isaiah and realized that God did not change at all. New testament, Old testament, same God and the same hatred for sin (I used to have this misconception that God lightened up after they cross and resurrection of Jesus but that's not the case). But this last verse stood out because the last chapter talks about the new Jerusalem, the one also spoken about in Revelation. In that new city, we who are all saved by Grace and live according to God's calling will be able to look at those who did not listen to the counsel of God and heed his commandment to call upon Jesus Christ and be saved. Even though I'm saved, that is a terrifying thought. We need to spread the gospel more because that means for all of Eternity, they would be reminded of what they could've had if only they listened. Oh God have mercy.

You’re right in saying that God did not change from the old to the New Testament. He is is still a just god, and there will always be a penalty for sin, but He is also still merciful, and provided us with His son as a way to be part of His people and to do His will.

Most of the Scriptures here concerning keeping the Sabbath through our Lord and savior Jesus Christ 🙏❤🔥 Matthew 11 Woe to the Impenitent Cities 20Then He began to rebuke the cities in which most of His mighty works had been done, because they did not repent: 21“Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. 22But I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of judgment than for you. 23And you, Capernaum, who are exalted to heaven, will be brought down to Hades; for if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. 24But I say to you that it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment than for you.” Jesus Gives True Rest 25At that time Jesus answered and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes. 26Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight. 27All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. 28Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 12 Jesus Is Lord of the Sabbath 1At that time Jesus went through the grainfields on the Sabbath. And His disciples were hungry, and began to pluck heads of grain and to eat. 2And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to Him, “Look, Your disciples are doing what is not lawful to do on the Sabbath!” 3But He said to them, “Have you not read what David did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him: 4how he entered the house of God and ate the showbread which was not lawful for him to eat, nor for those who were with him, but only for the priests? 5Or have you not read in the law that on the Sabbath the priests in the temple [desecrate]profane the Sabbath, and are blameless? 6Yet I say to you that in this place there is One greater than the temple. 7But if you had known what this means, ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice,’ you would not have condemned the guiltless. 8For the Son of Man is Lord [NU, M omit even]even of the Sabbath.” Healing on the Sabbath 9Now when He had departed from there, He went into their synagogue. 10And behold, there was a man who had a withered hand. And they asked Him, saying, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?”-that they might accuse Him. 11Then He said to them, “What man is there among you who has one sheep, and if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will not lay hold of it and lift it out? 12Of how much more value then is a man than a sheep? Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.” 13Then He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he stretched it out, and it was restored as whole as the other. 14Then the Pharisees went out and plotted against Him, how they might destroy Him. Many Healed After Sabbath Sunset Luke 4: 40-41 40When the sun was setting, all those who had any that were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and He laid His hands on every one of them and healed them. 41And demons also came out of many, crying out and saying, “You are the Christ [omits the Christ], the Son of God!”And He, rebuking them, did not allow them to speak [Or say that they knew], for they knew that He was the Christ Jesus Is Lord of the Sabbath NKJV Luke 6: 1-5 1Now it happened [on a Sabbath that He went]on the second Sabbath after the first that He went through the grainfields. And His disciples plucked the heads of grain and ate them, rubbing them in their hands. 2And some of the Pharisees said to them, “Why are you doing what is not lawful to do on the Sabbath?” 3But Jesus answering them said, “Have you not even read this, what David did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him: 4how he went into the house of God, took and ate the showbread, and also gave some to those with him, which is not lawful for any but the priests to eat?” 5And He said to them, “The Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath.” Healing on the Sabbath Luke 6:6 -11 6Now it happened on another Sabbath, also, that He entered the synagogue and taught. And a man was there whose right hand was withered. 7So the scribes and Pharisees watched Him closely, whether He would heal on the Sabbath, that they might find an accusation against Him. 8But He knew their thoughts, and said to the man who had the withered hand, “Arise and stand here.” And he arose and stood. 9Then Jesus said to them, “I will ask you one thing: Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save life or [b]to destroy?” 10And when He had looked around at them all, He said to [c]the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he did so, and his hand was restored [d]as whole as the other. 11But they were filled with rage, and discussed with one another what they might do to Jesus.

Whenever I read the book of Isaiah I always have the feelings that God spooked not only to the Jews but also to us in the present for example: Isaiah 30:1-Woe to the rebellious children, saith the Lord, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin. I feel like his talking also to us, I do not maybe is just me.....

I agree with you. 1 Peter 4:17 "For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?" God holds believers to a high standard, but much of the church today have been unfaithful to His Word and is steeped in false teachings and spiritual idolatry. Eastern Mysticism, New Age, Kabbalah, witchcraft..etc has crept in through seeker-friendliness, False Signs and Wonders, the Emergent Church, Ecumenism (joining back up with Catholicism and other false religions which will lead to the One World Relgion. God will have to cleanse the church, for He commands us to "Come out of her".

+kissofarose100 Yes, Jesus is the Truth, the Way and the Life. Anything added is just a lie that will take us far away from Him. I have an aunt, who on FB, will talk about God all the time, but is constantly posting devotions to Mary. Such idolatry. But it is hard to reach the religious because they have a false sense of security and think they already have God. I assume that you have a high regard for the Word. Knowing what it says (and following) is the only way for us to guard against deception in these last days. Sadly, many Christian churches are downplaying it, which leaves people open to spiritual manipulation and being led astray. I ended up being in a cult for 8 years because I did not regard the Bible as the final authority! So my warning now to everyone is, trust your Bibles, not the words of man.

Before I read the scriptures I cast satan out of my body and ask God for understanding, wisdom, knowledge, and the ability to share the messages. It's gotten better the more I feast on His words and not just read them. I highlight any scriptures that touch me, write down thoughts in my scripture journal, and pray in it. Takes about an hr or less. When I invite the spirit into my day I experience the day in a peace that brings tears to my eyes. Satan is crafty and distracts me more than I should allow. I'm learning when this is happening and pray for release and forgiveness. It's not just reading the word of God but it's living it that brings its meanings to life. 💗🙏💗🙏💗

I found some really interesting stuff as well in the book "Asimov's Guide to the Bible". It's purely a book explaining the historical significance of the Bible and what happened in each book, so it isn't a book based on religious bias, but as a Christian person I found it really helpful to look a the Bible from a historical perspective. I've always found that by looking at the books of the Bible this, it becomes less like a 'story' and more of something that really happened, drawing me closer to what God is saying in the process. It's old, so it might be hard to find, but I just wanted to mention it since it actually helped me with my studies of the book of Isaiah.

After watching this I just remembered that lovely worship song ' I am a new creation' . Just had to add it here because I think it reflects Isaiah's hope ." I am a new creation no more in condemnation here in the grace of God I stand . My heart is overflowing my love just keeps on growing here in the grace of God I stand . For I will praise you Lord yes I will praise you Lord and I will sing of all that you have done. A joy that knows no limit a lightness in my spirit here in the grace of God I stand. ' I am saved by his grace and not by my own works or deeds which have not always been Christ like. I hope to work on this in the future and I hope I have enough time left to do just that.

Don’t you know that it was His spirit (yes, even before He came to earth, He exists), which did all those miracles? You seem to have a problem to distinguish a magician and a Miracle worker, the latter is under the spell of God (His spirit). Of course, evil spirits can do some miracles (historical witchcraft and magic, now spiritism), but no where near of God’s.

@@mathewjoseph5987 So because I can understand how people in his time could fail to recognize him as the Messiah I also have a problem distinguishing miracle worker from a magician? Way to jump the gun there and rise to judgement.
