@@LeonLuckyV what a nonsense thing to say. There is and has been plenty of hate among christians to those that question the faith or practice it differently. There's literally been crusades, religious wars , torture, etc. None of those things are how a true christian should act according to the scripture but that doesn't take away the fact that there are plenty of people who call themselves christians that have hatred towards those that question their faith

@@bruh666 I mean, I think he’s talking about current day. As opposed to Islam, where if you rip up a Quran you can get lynched. I haven’t seen someone in the last couple of decades who ripped up the Bible and then was mobbed up a roof, fell from it and then stoned and set on fire. But with Islam…well…they filmed it and put that on the internet. Just saying, as a woman, which countries who have a history of certain religions do you think I’d rather be in? Christianity is called sexist all day long - but I’m terrified to step into the Middle East. And India, who practice Hinduism, is not better apparently.

@@adeniyioladipupo6592 It's just saying Proverbs is the "do this and everything will be great" book. The general rule. While Job/Ecclesiastes are the "I did those things, but everything did NOT turn out great" books. The exception to the rule. For example, Proverbs would be: I waited to have sex until marriage, had 2 kids & we lived happily ever after. While Job/Ecclesiastes would be: I waited to have sex until marriage, found out I was infertile, husband left me. It's saying life happens. We live in a fallen world so things don't always workout perfectly. There are no guarantees.

I have started reading the Bible. I am working through Psalms and looking forward to Proverbs. Your video has inspired me to learn more and more. It has also shown me that I have been a fool for most of my life. And Proverbs is accurate, my life has been a train wreck of my own doing. I recently came to God in my 64th year of life. God never abandoned me despite my foolishness and sins. I’ve tried reading the Bible two or three times in the past, but never got very far. God reached out to me and I’ve repented and prayed for forgiveness and He has answered my prayers. I have a renewed vigor for the Bible scriptures and I’m working on my relationship with God. I was truly lost, but now I am found. Thank you Jesus for showing me the way and showing this video to me.

What I did was read Proverbs in the morning basing the chapter read on the number of the day and the read Psalms at night starting with chapter one and following through until I had reached the end and started again. Managed to read the book of Proverbs 12 times in a year and read through Psalms just over twice in a year. I found it gave me great patience, comfort and a stronger reliance on God. Definitely something to consider practicing, Gods peace and blessings.

You don’t have to get stuck in the Bible. It’s totally cool to lose steam on some portions of scripture until you are ready for them. I approach studying scripture sort of like a cross word puzzle. If I get stuck on a word I’ll focus on another part for a while. Slowly as I fill in gaps, only then, am I able to understand and fill in the more challenging blanks. No idea if that makes sense. I just know that my understanding of scripture is directly connected to if I’m consistently in the word and not usually about reading plans to get through the whole Bible. I pray and trust the Lord to teach me his ways if I ask and seek for him. And there is no substitute for reading yourself. Videos, podcasts, books, conferences, sermons are great but even more exciting is to become familiar with Gods truth for yourself. He’s the best teacher so ask and trust him to teach you his ways. Ask him to give you understanding. It feels like there is no end to the depth of scripture. I’ll be reading it and letting God teach me through it for as long as I live so there’s no read rush to get through a specific book.

Would you consider yourself to be a good person? How many lies have you told, and what do you call someone who lies? Have you ever stolen something, no matter how small, and what do you call someone who steals? Have you ever taken God's name in vain/blasphemed, even ‘OMG’? That’s taking the name of the God who gave you life and using it in the place of a cuss word - would you do that with your mother’s name? Have you ever dishonoured your parents? Jesus said whoever looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery in his heart. Have you ever looked with lust? Most people probably have broken all 5 of these commandments. I myself have. I’m not judging you but if you have done these things then you’re a lying, thieving, blasphemous, rebellious adulterer-at-heart by your own admission. That's only 5 of the 10 commandments. God is fully just so he must and will punish every and all sin (which is departure from/rebellion towards God and the conscience) when he judges us. He cannot simply cancel our debt and let us go, or else he would be unjust. If you went into the courtroom and said: ‘Yes Judge, I’ve done these things but I also give money to the Red Cross and volunteer at an old-age home. I try my best to love people’ the judge is not going to take that into consideration. You’ve broken the law; the good you’ve done won’t help at all on the day of judgement. If he judges you by the moral law will you be innocent or guilty? Heaven or Hell? The answer is Hell. Doesn’t that concern you? But, fortunately, that is not God’s will. He is so loving and merciful, he made a way for you to be forgiven. The Son of God came down as a man, Jesus Christ, and lived a perfect, sinless life, so was the perfect sacrifice. He excruciatingly suffered and died on the cross to pay the FULL debt we owe because of sin; justice is fully done. You and I broke God's law and Jesus paid the fine in his life's blood, being resurrected again 3 days later. That’s why he said “It is finished” on the cross - in other words the debt has been paid. God has the payment ready to go for you. What you need to do is repent (recognising you are a sinner deserving God's punishment, turn to Him) and trust ALONE in Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins. Our works can do nothing as by the standard of God’s moral law we fail, but faith in him is enough to save us from all sin - past, present and future! Then though you have grievously offended God, he will forgive you and you will inherit eternal life being reborn in the Holy Spirit when you put your trust in the Lord and saviour. Too, you enter a covenant relationship with God - sonship, and truly I tell you your life will change in his presence. So repent and trust (i.e. Biblical faith), receive the free gift of grace. He redeemed me. God, The King of The Universe, came down as a man. He lived the first 30 years of his life as a poor carpenter then spent the next 3 preaching, healing and saving souls - all the while being persecuted, insulted and hated by his own people - and took the punishment to save our lives. It’s the most amazing love that anyone ever displayed. Christianity’s not just a religion. It's a pure, sweet relationship with God. Because of Jesus, I am now a son of God. He is my dad, and you can be his child too. God loves you. Will you let him come?. . .. . .. . .

I love the attention to detail, both in the spoken word, and in the animation. Have showed a couple now to my congregation (Yorkshire, UK) and apart from a couple of the older people missing a few words because of the accent, they have really enjoyed the way the information has been put across. Thank you.

I’m here because 3 years ago I found an open bible in the train. I was becoming more distant to god at that time. I saw that it was opened to proverbs. No one was around I took it with me. I want to know what it meant because I was going through a lot at that time. I’m finally doing my research.

@Jon Bird my dad goes to a christian jewish church. Its literally inside someones house. Around 40 people attend, they take turns in washing eachothers feet and wiping them dry with a towel, just as Jesus washed Peters feet.

@Jon Bird i can sort of understand where you're coming from. Personally myself, i dont go to church. Most churches these days are full of false prophets and its all about collecting tithes and so forth 💲💲💲💲💲💲💲. Very little to actually do with worshiping God. Look at the apostles, none of them got around with pockets full of money did they?.

Thank you for doing this. Im 34 and did NOT grow up in any church. Ive been to a few in my life. I live in the bible belt and in my teens through 20's I always stayed away because of the "southern baptist" and the judgement i would feel the few times i went to a church. Which isn't their fault. My father died August 3rd 2023 and I have learned so much. I ended up here this morning (its 8:54am eastern time here) because I walked into my apartment and there was a preacher on TV and he said something about a guy named Job that struck me....I looked up Job and ended up here. Thank you

The Fear of the Lord is the BEGINNING of Wisdom is the most undervalued and under preached concept in the Bible. Understanding and appreciating the depth and length God has gone to so that we might be creatures with a mind is just breath taking and something to be marveled at every day. He could have chosen to make you a rock instead! :) When we truly understand this we understand how to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength.” And then there is no pain, suffering, oppression that anyone can inflict upon you because God is TRULY first in your life.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness so that the servant of God may be throughly equipped for every good work. Let us never forget that the Word of God is infallible and it is the God breathed truth. It cannot be altered or compromised on.

Thank you, I am on chapter 11 of proverbs. I literally read one a day. And i have subscribed to your channel, because I was blown away at how clear your presentation was. Thank you so much for this very kind service. My Bible is a King James version, with very antiquated English, that gives me a lot to decipher. but I do love the quality of my bible, it has beautiful paper, is solidly built, and has Jesus's words in red letters. It is a tactile treasure worth beholding. ANYWAYS, i look forward to seeing more of your enlightening work.
