Link guy needed just one thing added to his kit and it was a dropping bombs to trap , trump and force cloud around when cloud was off stage mixed in with what he was already doing he might have a dangerous link but super fun set !

Yup, I agree. Also, utilizing arrows more while Sparg0 was off stage would had been good too. Force him to react more to arrows and be there to punish after he tries to air dodge.

Bernie. Idk if you know this but footstool of Soft or Hard Nair doesnt combo on Cloud and others with his stance. Its best to use Bair 1 or Dash, Zdrop, footstool. You were spot on so dont drill the shit out of Footstool combos. Cloud is just the lucky few that's tall enough but have a "protective" stance. The sweet rhing is they have more various route after because of their stature. Some of them are the only characters you can use 2 Bairs on after footstool, detonate, fast fall Bair 1 and Bair, Full hop Footstool.

Cloud's hurtbox shifting is so annoying, so many chars are tall but have that so you can't actually get the nair trains. Altho on most chars you can still get it from the hard nair. Its important if you go for it to know what chars it works on, the % window, and if it works from hard or soft nair, or out of a returning rang/bair 1. But yeah on cloud id avoid because you also don't wanna get UPB'd OOS.

@@SmashUltimateLinkVods bro I know. Honestly, If hard Nair doesn't work from zero percent it more than likely doesn't work. And I'm referring to Footstool Bomb Launch. Not Nair loops. Notice Big Bernie G kept going for them against Spargo. My guy just wouldn't give up.

@@SmashUltimateLinkVods +1 on tall characters hurtbox shifting. So many players overlook how op that is on characters that have it. I don't play Link, but for me Joker is who really annoys me the most. Absolutely insane shifting, and combined with his (relative to size) large hitboxes, it's like he always has an option at any time that always wins the situation (if you try to challenge him)
