I would’ve said we could count the 3 Sacred Treasures(which let Pit fly without the power of flight granted by Palu or Viridi) but those got destroyed in Uprising. Also, even looking at Pit’s solo jump height in the games, the original kid Icarus is a platformer, and he’s got a decent jump height, but he only gets one. His uprising hops kind of suck though.

She should get infiinte Up B because it's the Screw Attack (Up Special) that allows that ability, so you are correct.

@@lutetiunn wellll not quite. The space jump is (more often that not) acquired before the screwattack in metroid games. It's an ability that further enhances the jump rather than directly enabling it. But ye infinite up B is LORE ACCURATE!!

In terms of strengh: kirby can hit a rushing meteor the size of a city back in to space screeching at multiple light years per second with a wooden baseball bat. Speed: kirby can run against the force of a black hole meaning he and sonic on foot are essentially on equal footing. In terms of derability: in canvas curse Drawcia tried to thanos snap him out of exsistence, the only thing it did to the pink puff ball was piss him off.

Yoshi should have infinite double jumps that barely lose height if timed correctly

Fond memories of exactly this with gameshark and the original Smash Brothers. Infinite jumps, and Fox's gigantic stage. Just air battles and infinite jumping underneath the ship. The same code that granted infinite jumps also somehow allowed you to jump out of freefall, so Up B was fair game to use over and over as well!

I think that, instead of counting pixels, you guys could've divided the original game jump height by original game character height, and then multiplied that result by the smash character height. ya know, the butterfly method from school! you might have to still use pixels to determine the character heights, but it'd be way more accurate, because there's no way that Simon's jump should be less than his own height

I want a video with all of the "canon" mods (damage, height, jump hight, etc)

Not sure how programmable that would be, probably near impossible if I had to guess, but Pit should only be able to jump an infinite amount of time for 5 minutes, each jump after that should set him on fire and deal 80% in self damage (mmm, chicken wings) As for Captain Falcon, the anime made it pretty clear he can JUMP

Ground battle pit still has rocket jump and jump glide powers, so another way to do it is just the up special does damage to him.

While Kirby and Dedede do get infinite double jumps in their games, the actual height you get per Button press is rather small. you have to really spam the button to go up fast, and as such, the height of their multijump should have been nerfed even though they have infinite of them.

Also, they used Forgotten Land as the source for Kirby, one of the few games where he has a hover ceiling and can’t hover forever…

If you count that advent children scene, than you can make Mario jump to heaven then. In Mario Strikers Charged he can literally jump higher than a building

Simon's jump in Castlevania isn't that bad. He can jump at least his full height, and he is not half a meter tall.

Imagine if you referenced Yoshi's jump height from Super Mario Sunshine. It was NUTS in that game; you could quite literally leap tall buildings in a single bound.

I like how some characters can barely jump while others literally just fly around infinitely.

A few issues: 1) Using Kirby and the Forgotten Land as the source, that's one of two games where he can't infinitely float (the other being Kirby 64). Another fun fact though, when Kirby's float runs out, you can do an aerial Hammer attack with right timing and go super high. 2) Should've used the original Kid Icarus for Pit's jump, which was a good few times his height as it's a platformer. The Power of Flight in Uprising isn't infinite either, he can only go at most 5 minutes before burning up. Should apply to Dark Pit as well.

Pit can’t fly as long as he wants. If he uses the Power of Flight for more than five minutes, his wings burn up. And based on one late-game moment, there seems to be something of a cooldown, since using it again shortly after nearing the limit burnt up his wings. EDIT: Forgot to mention, it also seems like whoever grants him the Power of Flight (both Palutena and Viridi do so at different points) doesn’t let him fly freely.

Pit's infinite jumps should have had an ingame use timer (like rob's up-b fuel) of 5 minutes Afterwards he takes constant damage while in the air

You should do a mod where you flip the stages upside down but the characters still play as normal. I’d love to see how that changes things

If you’re curious on how high Mega Man jumps, he jumps a little over 9 ft if you’re using Mega Man 2 as the source material. His jump height can range in different heights, but 9 ft seems the most “accurate” jump height because of his weight and to connect more with the video instead of over 15 ft of jump height. Edit: I thought Pikachu can jump higher than he did here, maybe it’s only for the anime then.

in Yoshi's Wooly world, (or crafted world idk which) we used easy mode to fly forever. BUT, in normal mode, you could still fly forever if you timed your float jumps right (if you jumped midair you would lightly float up)
