Super Mario party was meant to hold us over to Superstars, They crammed so much into the game yet it still feels horribly rushed. Only 4 boards, they could have given us some DLC, hell, give us DLC for superstars. We want more boards. And really it is a spot to camp on this board. Every game has a camp area. MP3, Spiny dessert, top right corner of the map. reverse shrooms. Hit boo like twice a turn

The fourth prize is worse. If they got 2 stars, at least then we know the game would have wanted them to make some sort of comeback and they just got screwed by Nick and Brent finding a broken tactic. Getting the 4th place not once, but twice, when they were several stars down is proof that the game, the world, and the universe themselves wanted those two to lose, that there was no timeline where they would win.

the funny thing is that nintendo games are just as rigged as a clayton (dream) minecraft speedrun. its literally a pre-determined rng. once it has decided on who will win or who will lose the "rng" from that point on will only favor one over the other. when does the 50%50 invisible rng determine who will win or lose? the moment you select the game board and it starts loading in. therefore the game is not real and not really worth playing.

This game was likely the example of "Not beating the lucky allegations vs Not beating the unlucky allegations" dem last turns & ending was so brutal 💀💀😭

We don't mention that in the vod, Nick had a hidden block card and he was going to use it right after they had the worst turn vernias and sophist ever had. They didn't actually get a star from the block, but still that was kind of evil.

I lost a 9-0 star lead on this board once, and we didn't even use Lakitu once. Everything fell apart in the final turn + bonus stars. They used a 2× star card, both landed on the star space, and they gained 6 stars from that. Then, they both TIED on BOTH BONUS STARS, gaining them another 4 stars, and we lost 9-10, it was wild! (Usually, even in the team boards, the bonus star is only awarded to one person unless there's a tie, not one TEAM, so technically one team can earn 2 bonus stars simultaneously) We kicked their butts, they only had 1 ally while we had 7, we kicked their butts in the Soccer minigame, and it was so much fun! We doubled up on stars on multiple turns

So lemme get this straight. As long as Vernias got at least 2 50/50s in the last 4 turns, he could've gotten 4 Stars with his Double Card then used his Golden Pipe to get 2 more putting them up to 6, then Eevee could've gone to the event and gotten either 1 or 2 Stars putting them up to 7 or 8, but Vernias didn't get a single 50/50 and Eevee got 3 Coins from the event so they got 0. Damn

@@speedude0164 but do note that at every turn, Nick & Brent moves second, so they will always have a chance of stealing stars the moment Vern & Eevee get a star. Let's say Vern got 2 stars in the second last turn, Nick & Brent could probably stole at least 1, star count 7:1. Then at last turn Vern & Eevee get 6 stars at once, star count 7:7 and again Nick & Brent have a chance to steal a star each, just 1 steal and they would've won. This is not accounting for Brent stars and that Nick actually has 1 hidden block card (not shown in video) he was planning to use at the last turn. Vern & Eevee victory is kinda ... not so high a chance.

This is what happens when Eevee and Vernias team up. If they don’t tear each other apart, their combined awful luck will.

I remember how I stayed up until midnight to buy this immediately off release. That was the first and last time I did that for Nintendo. With the 5050 thing, I feel like Nick forgot that character specific dice blocks exist that change the odds of getting odd or even numbers so the mechanic allows for characters that normally extreme low tier to see use in play.

But locking a dice to odd or even doesn’t matter when you have allies because they can add 1 to your roll which changes what it is. You also have to account for the other player’s roll as well. If they also have an odd numbered dice then that means you can’t guarantee an odd because if both of you roll your own dice then you’ll get an even or have to take a 50/50 if they roll a normal dice. And at that point you may as well both roll normally.

Mario Party DS tag royale is far superior
