i opened my s8+ as u said now, but its not working, any other connections to reconnect..?

My s8+ fell in the water, and it was my stupidity that instead of letting it dry I kept playing COD (call of duty) and the screen then went black. But the touch is still working I can hear the tap sounds and can even play music and type password but the display is black. Idk what to do the technicians are off because of the countrywide lockdow. 🥺

Sir, i have galaxy s8 plus my phone is not turning on. actually i update software from android 8 to 9 in samsung settings . but while installation my phone turned off and never turned on again. i tried everything volume up+ bixby + power button then volume up then volume down + power button but didnt work. on holding volume down + power button it vibrates while charged plugged in but not turn on. wht should i do now i have precious data of office work . please help me

I followed all of the steps. The circle with bolt appeared after that the Samsung logo appeared for several minutes then it and shut off. Would a new battery fix the problem? I disconnect 2 more times but no luck.

When recording video and you are recording an event which takes longer than 30 minutes, it creates multiple videos. Recording for 35 minutes - you get a 30 minute and a 5 minute video. Recording for 65 minutes - you get 2 x 30 minute videos and a 5 minute video. Problem is it stops the first 30 minute video to make the following 30 minute video, there is a break between the 2 videos and you loose a second or 2 between the 2 videos, thereby missing what someone said or done during the transition time between the first 30 minute video and the 2nd 30 minute video. & between the 2nd video and the 3rd video, etc etc. How if possible so that there is a continuous recording without the breaks between each 30 minute video ?

How can i return the back cover? Do i need to put glue or something? Tnx

Hi sometimes there is small cracks underneath the digitiser called lcd which is not repairable

In my case of s8+ bsod, it required a little more repair. I am leaving my experience here for someone who came along with the same problem. I dropped my s8+ in the bathtub for like 3 secs. It didn't affect anything. I wiped dry the exterior of the phone and continued using it. However, the phone ran for a few more hours then eventually 'died' (bsod) during charging. I opened up the phone (water indicator was still white) and tried the method described in this video to no avail. I watched most s8 bsod videos on KZread. They didn't help. Power+Volume Down(soft reset) or Power +Volume Down+Bixby, then volume up, then power+volume down for 10 secs (reload current rom), only turned on the phone with black screen. I thought either logic board circuit was partially damaged or lcd screen is fried. I was about to give up and send my s8+ in for professional service. Then, I read somewhere about Samsung bsod problem is usually power management related. So, I assumed the 3 sec submerging in bath water had damaged USB port charging component and the battery still drained out while plugged in the charger. Battery was too weak to power up LCD screen while turning on or soft resetting. So, I ordered on eBay a $5 USB charging port connector(flex cable) to replace the old USB charging port. After charging for several hours with new USB charging port, the LCD display was turned on after a couple of trials and errors soft resetting and loading current rom procedures. In my s8+ bsod case, water came in and damaged USB charging port. Battery wasn't able to re-charge to enough capacity to power up LCD display. Fix the damaged USB charging port, then you fix the bsod problem.

Hey dear, I am having the same problem, yet the solution didn't work for me. It was sitting on my desk and the phone turned off itself. I tried all the keys, power, power + Bixby + volume up, Power + volume down, and etc.... nothing works. and the phone doesn't show any sign of anything. the phone doesn't boot up or anything. no sign of vibration and also no light. Please Help!!!

Same here not working after days it turned on by pressing all keys but when I restart it blacken and not opening. Wait hours then press all keys it shows odin menu but when I restart it ,it after samsung logo turned off

Every technician said need new display.....
