My S/O is strictly an iPhone guy so no help other than to advise it probably needed a reboot and that I look online for advice. I'll claim pandemic brain for not thinking of that myself. tysm, YES! MY PHONE IS FIXED. My screen recently took a plumet face first into concrete and cracked despite an otterbox, but besides a few deadzones on the screen it looked and worked fine. I thought that was part of the problem but I suppose this is just a normal thing.

The screen brightness level control for some reason on startup if you touch it the wrong way it goes to dim it's not a fault in the phone it's fault in the user once you start it up with your code in at all Go immediately to brightness level and jack it back up

Hi. I have galaxy S8 & screen got black suddenly. With this trick it still remains black. It vibrates as if it is being turned on but with black screen. Phone screen started flickering 2 days back & now it got totally black. Phone works being connected with wlan, receives WhatsApp messages & so on. Blue indicator keeps flashing on top left corner. Tried a force restart but now phone is stuck on SIM pin or screen unlock key field. Can't go further as screen is black. Thanks!

That's what my husband now has! He has the blue light, haptic feedback for like, password and such, green light for notifcations etc. It was working fine on his way to work and within 45 minutes of being at work, nothing. No screen.....

No, he wound up replacing his phone after some time. We were able to save most of what was on it though which was a huge plus side.

That's what I am getting for my husbands phone. No screen. It was fine when he went to work and when got to work yesterday, within 45 minutes, nothing. He has haptic feedback so we know where we are putting his password in lol. But still no screen after multiple hard resets. Were you able to get your phone fixed?
