I just replaced LCD digitizer screen on my Samsung S8. when I tested it before installation, the screen was working fine. Now that I installed it on the phone, it powers up, but doesn't show any images and the screen is totally black, no matter what I try. I checked all the connections and the battery are fine. Any idea? Thanks!

I tried everything and my S8 screen is till black do u know what the problem is

You should juse dc to power it on with Phone Repair Tools Power Data Cable DC Power Supply Phone Current Test Cable with USB Output for iPhone Sony Samsung instead of take the chip of 2 time. By doing this it will maybe show you power on the device first and the remove the chip. Sometime the battery need to charge. you can also juse thermal camera and find the problem faster. But anyway good video.

Really there’s no schematics anywhere for an S8?

my s8plus screen went yellow and white and goes off and comes back normal and goes black but the LCD is on ive tried restarting but yet the same problem

My s8+ fell in the water, and it was my stupidity that instead of letting it dry I kept playing COD (call of duty) and the screen then went black. But the touch is still working I can hear the tap sounds and can even play music and type password but the display is black. Idk what to do the technicians are off because of the countrywide lockdown..

@@tpsin713 Nop, IDK You'll have to Change the LCD. I'll suggest you to buy a dotted one which will only cost u like $70usd. Less than half price.
