Augie You should also do "Rainbow: my vinyl collection" which would be great to see. Rainbow is a band from my childhood that I really like, especially from the Dio years and their live performances are stunning. I like the on stage but the best is the 1977 in Munich, this double album is very good. I hope you are well in your new home and that you return quickly with the videos.See you soon

Hey Luis!! How are you ? Yes everything is calming down at the new place lol. I love Rainbown. The 2 albums with Dio ( and the live one ) are classic! The other ones with Joe Lynn Turner are good .. they have some hit & miss songs. But over all are very good … I’ll be making new videos in another week or so … just finishing up the new Man ( cave ) Crypt lol

Lol thanks John…. Yeah it’s a cool Boxset.. you got the “ 10 year War” Boxset? That one I don’t have … which is why I wanted this one… I’m still waiting for the Eric Martin years and for Sabbath to do something with Sabbath Bloody Sabbath & Never Say Die.. We’ll see what happens lol.

Great video Augie! I agree with you on Never Say Die, that's a top favorite Sabbath album for me, I never understood the hate, even from Ozzy. There's not a dull song to be had.

Jaymz!! What up! The mighty bass player from the band Reaper!!! Yes never say Die is awesome album… Ozzy was out of his mind at the time they made that album.. he was in the band , then he was out , back in , back out …. I don’t think it’s that sabbath don’t like the songs. I think it just left a bad taste in they’re mouth because of all the Drama… bad experience making it…🤘

Excellent point Aug-Dude!!…I suppose the whole experience of recording Never Say Die was a real downer, what with Ozzy being fired/Savoy Brown singer slots in/first self-produced album tensions, etc….Hey, look at The Police and the fists raised time after time between those cats-some of the most memorable music in rock history the result of it!

First thing I did when getting home from work was looking for this video and you didn't disappoint! I had no idea this was coming out, gotta love Rhino, been releasing some awesome albums recently. I need to keep an eye on them. I'd love to have this! It's still available so seriously seeing how I can swing this. I love Never Say Die as well. Never understood the hate. Oh and love the records you have showing in the background. Looks like I saw Tomcattin' . One of my favorites! Love your videos!

Yes Rhino is definitely on the Sabbath /Dio band wagon… I knew this was coming out about a month ago when i ordered it.. go to the Rhino web site order from there NOT eBay! Read what I just wrote in Jaymz reply about Never… basically “ the making of it” left a bad taste with the Sabbath guys … a hard album to make because Ozzy wasn’t there most of the time … all that Drama going on .. and I’m sure Bill was no help .. they were all kinda out of it by that time … I don’t think it’s the music they don’t like , I think it was just the bad experience they went through making it … And yes that’s the BlackFoot Album “ Tomcattin”. I was listening to it the other day… lol. I have a few Blackfoot albums… Thanks for watching and leaving comments!! Have a great weekend!!!

Really enjoy your videos. Great collection we need a tour of the room. I know you mentioned that you don’t clean your vinyl new vinyl comes with a lot of dirt from the factory shavings. Look into a spin clan. You won’t be disappointed.

Yes I definitely need a cleaner. Always good to clean when playing new vinyl… I had a cleaner years ago … need a new one .. I’ll check out some Spin Cleaners… know any good ones? I do a room tour soon

Hey Aug-Town!…Much obliged that you will consider a “Final Album” thread-I happened to be thinking ‘bout LZ’s “In Through The Out Door”(1979) around the time of Never Say Die when some classic rock bands were feelin’ the heat from young up and comers, maybe it would be interesting to examine their last gasps with legend lineups….What’s out there?--Aerosmith/Draw The lLine, Blue Oyster Cult/Imaginos, Yes/Tormato, a few others I believe…As you do always, Keep Bringin’ It!!

Thanx dude, good pix there!(Don’t Look Back especially)…Is it “Night In The Ruts”(1979) for Aerosmith, though?..(Joe Perry left the group halfway through the recording but is credited as album personnel)…I’ll tell ya, never warmed up to that one and “Rock In A Hard Place”(1982) although the fans seem to like them….I believe you ARE a fan of “Done With Mirrors “(1985) if I’m not mistaken…More Augie On YT!

Hey! What’s up …. I’m not sure why some have the Hype Sticker , could be from another distributor or maybe they didn’t have them when it got mine … I think I got mine from UMG direct , ( universal music group) they have a web site .. check it out , they have a ton of cool boxsets …

@augie3281 I am also disappointed on the upcoming Rhino 😔 Tony Martin, sabbath box set. It's just the albums, with Forbidden being remixed. The cd set has like 2 bonus tracks, vinyl has no bonus tracks. The CDs should be loaded with bonus concerts, they have cross purposes VHS 📼 show, good sound. And Forbidden should have original mix and re mix both offered on CD 💿 .. I used to be buy everything sabbath, haha. But now I just get bootlegs,.I only buy reissues with bonus material. Question, does the picture disc sound good? I have found picture disc's can have horrible sound, or sound like a normal record. Are these good sounding? Either way, it's a super cool 😎 Pic disc box set,there legendary albums

Fans have waited so long for these and not to have “ extras “ is a let down for sure … As far as the picture discs, I’ll be honest, I haven’t listened to them all , I only put on Vol 4 and it sounded ok … normal .. and as it was playing , I was doing other things so I wasn’t really paying close attention to the sound … I need to listen more carefully..

I love Zeppelin-How the West Was Won.only have it on CD at this point. But things could be worse 😁 Augie I got a great new Sabbath piece myself recently. A U.S. promo copy of the debut, beautiful shape.i gotta friend you on Facebook or whatnot so I can show you some of these things sometimes.

For me it was a must have … I’ll listen to it .. I can never get sick of sabbath … wish there was a book thou. Little history on the band .. but the poster is cool .. can’t complain too much lol
