The guy with the purple hair is Suga one of the rappers. Both RM and Suga came from underground rap. What I like about this group among many things is they write and produce most of their own songs. They are also crazy talented and very interesting people from varying backgrounds. They are humble and genuinely good human beings. I really started to like them when I started learning about the members.

Guys, just caught BTS’s concert at Soldiers Field in Chicago. They are indeed singing live. Dionysus was their first song and the energy was fantastic. Then ... they followed it up with Not Today, which is another high energy number. They sounded just as good ... and maintained the energy and seemingly effortless singing and dancing through the nearly 3 hour show. It was absolutely impressive! I’ve never seen anything like BTS. (And I might add, never have I seen as passionate an audience as ARMY - they rocked too!)

They practice around 12 hours a day. So they really do work very hard.

Yes, they do sing live. There’s a video of their live performances where someone removed the music completely and you only hear them sing. They’re amazing! It’s crazy how much they put into their performances. I just can’t believe they can dance like that and sing so well!💜

They’re so good that it doesn’t seem live but all of their performances are live. They are just really hard workers 🥰

I saw this in Wembley it was amazing way to start the concert and the purple hair guy is called Suga (Min Yoongi)

Seeing them in person is astonishing, I saw them in New Jersey 100/10 would recommend, best concert I’ve ever gone to.

They do this song live. They are doing a stadium tour right now and this is their opening song on the tour. The set has two gigantic panthers flanking the stage lol. They are in Chicago Sat and Sun 5/11-12, at Met Life in NJ on 5/18-19 then Brazil 5/25-26 (I think Brazil got a second day) then London 6/1-2 and Paris 6/8-9 for the US/EU leg of the tour.

Ones wearing black are the back up dancers / kpop trainees, that’s part of their training!

This performance is their opening song in their sold out stadium tour. Everybody should experience once in their life time going to bts concert.

I'm glad you guys reacted to this one....some answers to your questions: yes they were singing live....in Korea most of their show are sung live, everybody has to sing live....the rapper with the purple hair that u asked about his name is Suga, the rapper with the blonde hair that spoke english, that's R.M., the co leader of the group...the last rapper and other co leader of the group is j-hope....they all have solo projects you should check out, Suga's "Agust D" R.M.'s "Joke" or "Do You" and J-hope's "Daydream" or "Airplane part 1"....the other 4 are vocalist...Jin the one with the low voice in this one, Jimin...the one with the pink hair, V...the one with the blue hair, and Jungkook, the one with the dark hair that was mostly in the center.... You should check out some of older songs...they are more hip hop based...the three rappers are the songwriters, producers, and beat makers of the group.... One last thing...the song "Dionysus" is pronounced Dye-o-Nye-sis...he was a Greek god...he was the god of wine and Grape...as well as the god of festival....the staff that R.M. had at the beginning is supposed to be Dionysus's thyrsus...it helped him with the crop of grapes and also helped make the grapes into wine...they said that Dionysus was both feminine and Masculine....two halfs of one whole body....genes the reason why in the picture in the beginning the were wearing purses, pearls, pins, and other feminine things....BTS is known to make their fans think about what they are doing..and why....u should really check them out a little more, I don't think u would be disappointed...dont get me wrong I'm sure there will be songs u may not like...but I can tell u now...u will find songs that u will really like as well...thanks for letting me be long winded...and I hope a little helped answer some of your questions...

if you listen to their voices carefully you can notice the way they breathe and it shows that they’re really singing live. BTS never did lip syncing even when those times that they were sick

Purple hair guy is Min Yoongi, stage name Suga (pronounced shoe-ga) and goes by AgusTD on his solo mixtape (it is Suga spelled backwards with DT added to represent the town he is from and the name of the underground rap group he was with years ago). They are performing in Chicago in less than 24 hours for two nights at Soldier field and Dionysus is in the set list. Next weekend is MetLife Stadium in NJ. They just did the Rose Bowl and there are fancam views. My recommendation would be for you to watch their Live Cypher Medley (they have 4cyphers but this was a live Medley performance that is lit) as well as a live performance of Mic Drop (the video for this one is pretty good too if you have not seen it). the blonde guy was speaking in english! he’s the leader of the group and is an actual genius. not even kidding lol. all koreans take an iq test in high school and he scored in the top 1% in the nation with 148 which is considered “genius”. he also taught himself english by watching Friends.

BTS always sing LIVE on stage. They never lip sync. They practice 10~12hrs everyday for an entire month right before they come back with a new album

Yeah they use some backing track in the background to help them since it is an intense dance but they also sing live at the same time. they dont use background vocals for the rappers tho.

Back in the 90's, the Milli Vanilli Lip Sync Drama was recognized internationally. So, starting in the 90's Kpop, if anyone was not singing live, these music shows would have a type of tape reel icon show in the corner, indicating this was not a live show. So, yes, BTS is definitely singing LIVE... and that's also why they killed their musical performances on SNL just recently!!! You should watch those performances.

I do know that they'll try to sing live most of the time. But depending on their company or the show they're performing under, there tend to be alot of backing tracks along with their live singing or smts a compete use of backing tracks over their voice. Thats why it sounds perfect and crisp in certain performances sometimes even when they're dancing. But if you listened clearly you can hear their voices over the tracks too, i have no doubt that they would give their all to perform for smt they worked their ass off for :')

BTS is just so different with other kpop groups, that's why theyre soooo popular. They have great stage presence, high quality music with great messages and have so much talents also great chemistry with each other just like a family. They all have different vocal colors which make it even more interesting. BTS' discography truly amazing because they always have many genres, it's various but mostly pop,edm , hip-hop, ballad and rnb. It's worth to stan them tho. ❤❤❤ amazing boys! they always give 100% for their performances. SOOO HARDWORKING. they're funny and entertaining too btw!!! 😂 love them.
