Basically all rap line live performances are LIT af and worth watching, so I strongly recommend to also watch a full performance of Cypher pt3, also Ddaeng live and Outro: Tear live.

Yes, do the Cyphers. I'd do the lyrics videos first and then the live videos. Also, you should know beforehand the context to these songs. They are basically a response to their haters who harshly criticized them for leaving underground rap and joining a kpop group.

Jade honestly when I saw several comments to Shanti suggesting "who is BTS" I tried to notified them to recommend this video instead. There's another army who's name is abbie that I oftenly seeing around, she was also suggesting this one. It was revealed in like 2016, 2017 that SINCE DEBUT (2013) all of the music videos run around a central story line. The story and music videos are based on themes from classical literature and philosophy (Damien, Jung's Map of the Soul, and the Art of Loving). Yeah, for me too. And not only that. This video is not that overwhelming as previous one where you had to stop the video to see and hear everything. Also in this video captions are not that fast and some of the information was cut the way that people get a point w/o long explanations as it was with Jimin's hard working character and JK's love for his hyungs in the older video. I get that these are really important infos but I think it's not necessary to repeat that with 3 different videos and take storage that can be filled with another useful infos. This video is made better than its 2017 year' version and it makes me sad that people rather watch old version that has more views (so it pops first) instead of more accurate and more recent one 😢. I'm really glad that he reacted to this version of this introduction, not many reactors do that 🤗🙃.

Fun fact: 4 o'clock came into being because of a fight V had with Jimin over dumplings. The song talks about meeting with a friend late at night/dawn which is what Jimin and V did shortly after the fight and Jimin was supposedly drunk 😂 They still didn't talk to each other for about two weeks but the two friends missed each other and gave up holding their anger from the fight and worked to compromise and become even greater friends 💕

Thus, a singing cow is a lawsuit, a group of singing cows is a group lawsuit. The BTS universe (BU) storyline starts with the song I Need U. It starts quite a long list of songs, which also includes Blood, Sweat, and Tears (which may be why some of the references in that song, along with some visuals, were so confusing).

on the Taehyung one it said that he auditioned with his friend, but Taehyung only went to support his friend and then Bighit wanted him.

they haven’t been megastars for a long time, they are relatively new to it. they gained a lot of exposure in the u.s. around 2017 due to the bbmas; and everything sort of skyrocketed ever since. when they first debuted back in 2013 they received a lot of hate and people didn’t really expect much from them, they won their first award in 2015. but enough of that. i just want to say that they are truly an inspiration for not only myself but to many others all around the world. thank you for supporting our boys.

I'm not surprised that Suga (Yoongi) and J-Hope (Hobi/Hoseok) are your two biases. What a lot of these videos leave out is that they live together and have since before they debuted. That contributes greatly to how close they are. So Jungkook, for example, has been living with them since he was about 13 years old.

Thanks for making this video^^ Some of the info was off/missing btw 1. Taehyung accompanied his friend to his audition (he didn't initially go to audition himself) but BigHit wanted Tae to try. He wasn't supposed to but I'm sure we're all glad he did anyway lmao 2. Jungkook joined the company around 14 but when BTS debuted, he was 15 almost 16^^ 3. i'm not sure if this is important to just the basics of BTS but there is a clip of a rapper talking quite rudely about kpop rappers (BTS' rap line in particular) in FRONT of the rap line and the reason I think it's important is to understand where BTS come from with the negative aspects. They weren't really respected by the industry at that time (If I remember correctly this was in late 2013?). It really goes to show how much the boys have grown and used the criticism for the better. It's not SUPER important to watch but it's out there if you, or anyone who hasn't seen it yet, would like to watch^^ (I'd also like to add that, sadly, many rookie groups still face this type of criticism till this day)

Kim Taehyung didn't actually audition. His friend did but they wanted him so they got him to audition. His solos are Singularity, Stigma and 4'0clock. He's also done some covers which can be found on SoundCloud along with some other members. The game shows they participate in are mostly from their long running show called Run BTS which airs on V Live and new episodes are put out on Tuesdays. They can be found on here too but it's better to watch on V Live as it comes with eng subs. Theres currently 83 episodes. They also have other content from photoshoots called Summer Package and Seasons Greetings, then there is Bon Voyage in which the guys go on holiday and have to do everything for themselves. There is currently 3 seasons of Bon Voyage and a huge must to watch. It shows more of them being them and is hilarious.

It makes me happy to see people outside the kpop scene appreciate BTS.

I’d watch it after the Cypher series, though. 15:22: that’s the intro to their performance at the 2016 MAMA. It’s one of my favorites BTS live performances, but everytime I see a new one I get really impressed. They are probably one of the most powerful live performers in the world today. 16:01: that’s Jimin’s solo Serendipity - indeed a brilliant song. 18:23: That’s V’s solo Singularity. It’s a very soulful song and the choreo is really good. It was actually after this choreo that V was oficially declared parto f the dance line. RM’s part for example I feel is somehow lacking to portrait the brilliant artist he is. Do not only did he audition and get in while his friend didn’t he’d never planned on it originally and was just here to support his friend.
