Let's be clear about how good this is. He just walked out on stage and freestyled a 2 hour special with no script whatsoever. And it's funny, relevant and takes shots at the federal reserve. Can we please share this damn video around!?

I am from mainland China, came to Canada 10 years ago, couldn’t really make a conversation in English. Then I found a video on KZread of Bill Burr with Chinese caption, fucking love it. However it was the only Bill Burr special with Chinese translation on the internet. Then I started to watch the video with only English captions, with my dictionary. Anyway, thanks for teaching me English.

I once worked for a Furniture Dealer, in Credit and Collections. One of my Co-Workers was a Stand Up Comic. I call him "Stan" (not his real name). Stan said unless your name is Jay Leno or David Letterman, being a Comic is a tough job. You get maybe, if you are lucky, five days of work in Las Vegas and maybe another five days in Miami. But it seems for most unknown Comics, it is hard to get a FULL time job anywhere, so Stan decided to work for a Furniture Company, to pay the Rent! Stan said one night, he walked out onto the Stage in Miami and FROZE UP! HE FORGOT ALL HIS JOKES! And Comics, it seems, don't use Teleprompters. Letterman used Cue Cards, but 99.9% of Stand Up Comics DON'T. I am going back over 30 years, so I don't know how long "Stan" just stood there in SILENCE! But it must have been horrible! So when I hear Bill Barr deliver his act, I am in AWE as to how he REMEMBERS what to say!

Bill Burr is the GOAT of older, sensible, regular guy comedy. This is one of the best stand-up acts I've ever seen. I hope to see more like this, live podcast with an audience. The thing I don't like about comedian's podcasts is the lack of audience to work off of, they have nothing to riff with. If more of them did stuff like this I would watch more. edit: Josh Johnson does a lot of shit like this with his regular 15 minute sets about topical stuff and it is great, look him up.
This is a super interesting live show. I know there have been a ton of live podcast shows in the past but that fact that it’s just him up there makes it wild, dude has no one to play off but has a massive crowd.
Bill cementing himself as a legend in stand up comedy. People don't realize just how hard it is to riff for 2 hours like this at such a high level.

Tons of love for Bill Burr. How does he keep rocking it so well?! I've been following this brilliant comedian since 2003. There's a lot of great comedians, but Bill just has to be #1 for me. We all have that little voice in our head that feels certain ways about certain things but he just says that shit out loud and it never ceases to be funny. Also oddly therapeutic, a lot of things you've said have helped me understand how to deal with certain things (like expressing my feelings) so thank you very much Bill. @@marsicogodofwar9280 You're kidding, right? You obviously don't understand that anyone can choose a favorite all they desire, the same as you do not understand how to formulate a proper sentence. Lack of education and a desire for laziness is not a free ticket to judge another simply because their favorite is not your favorite. Be honest, Normand is trash and Shane hasn't been viral throughout his entire career. We are here under Bill's content after all. Not seeing either of your favorites in the room. Must be an indication that the OP's choice of a favorite has some legitimate, real world influence on the comedy scene. And I'm not seeing either of your mentions filling a venue with people wanting to watch a podcast live. Especially this particular venue. Don't be mad because you like people who lack the ability to generate true humor out of real world events. Instead, be mad at all of the time you wasted on one single video game, for that is where shame resides. And THAT is how you belittle another in a youtube comment section.

Of course he is, he had to roast Patrice O Neal himself back when they both were at comedy cellar
I introduced my mam to bill burr to this year with paper tiger. She laughed so much she watched 3 other specials the same day. She laughed so much she cried and peed herself I think. It was as funny to me watching her as watching the special 😂😂😂 billy red nuts is a special talent
Rewatching this masterpiece after 3-4 month and I still enjoy it like the first time. Bill Burr is my second favorite ginger 😂
Billy balls needs to release an adult sleep soundtrack, his rants are the best. I feel lucky to watch him, never ceases to be hilarious
I love how he went into rant mode right in the first ten seconds with the lady and her phone lol
Bill, you've reached a level of brilliance that is purely legendary. 2 hours of freestyled, effortless comedy. One could only hope to be this good in their own respective craft.
Such an amazing performance. The guy dares calling that a podcast episode when it is the most epic thing to do: step on stage with a bunch of mails to react to about 90minutes in, and a piece of paper in the pocket. This is just as brilliant as any special Bill got out. And I’m going to binge watch that episode as the latest special available. Bravo!
I've watched this so many times and each time it's a feast! Thank you, Bill Burr for your outlook on life and your ability to give this old man a laugh or two!
Bill burr has a way of telling a story and making you feel like your there with him . Amazing talent!
Oh boy I sure thought I have missed on this for good! Thank you ole Billy for publishing this for us, poor cheap facks who didn't pay for your live show.
This was great Bill, I needed this. Thanks for lifting my spirits up and wishing you the best from Germany for you and your family 🫶🏼
This video literally got me through a panic attack. Thank you Bill.
I didn’t even realise it was unrehearsed til he stumbled on a word, and it dawned on me how flawless this guy is. Flowing genius. He’s a portal

I lost my dad when i was 13. He was a drunk asshole who beat moms. But a nice guy that legit taught me alot when my little dumbass listened. He would help the stranger stranded on the side of the road, teach me to help people, then get home, start drinking, and give mom's a black eye. I didnt cry until i was in my late 20s like 5 or 6 years ago when ĺ i relized how fucked up i was and how even though i tried so hard to avoid it i almost ended up like him. Then i quit drinking and felt a whole hell of alot Better

That is rough dude. I've certain aspects of my father I'd rather avoid carrying on myself but nothing that bad, sorry you had to go through that. Mad respect for being introspective enough to change the pattern and huge respect for quitting alcohol! Alcohol can be a bitch, and make you act a cunt, so sometimes you have to be a bit of an asshole to yourself and your desires, despite yourself. Addiction is a bit of a motherfucker indeed to deal with. The most important thing imo is to be aware of your areas of fault; things you realize you have a weakness for, or which will result in negative consequences for you. Almost to the point where one could treat it like tastes /preferences in things, or precautions based on allergies. I see nothing but strength in people willing to admit to their "faults" (neuro-weaknesses? neuro-differences?), even more so if they want to deal with them. I have had issues big and small related to alcohol use for about 10 years, and even though I'm not classifying myself as an alcoholic (this term is rightly slowly being fazed out within medicine/science; it's too nonspecific) I've for a few years now accepted that I have a personality prone to addiction, and so need to be cautious with addictive substances. Honestly it feels incredibly freeing , and I'm happier for it, but I appreciate that it's a difficult process for many people. Sorry for the rant, I guess I got the Bill-Burreliosis setting in hard :O Peace ^^
I’ve done high level corporate business with “smart” people and comedians like Bill are at a different level of brilliance. It’s amazing to watch.
Bill is a national treasure
Gotta love how much better this is than most Netflix specials these days. This harkened back to another era. I was just stunned throughout the whole thing.
The way he uses the podcast to practice and stay sharp has made Bill one of the most genuine and authentic voices in comedy. He got up and just talked about his life for like two hours and because he’s honed his wit he can reflect humorously on pretty much anything.

"Freckled speedbag" hahahahaha, I literally spat my drink out at that bit. Guy is a genius.
I’m not gonna lie, I’ve been a fan of Bill Burr for at least 10 years now. While watching this, though, I thought at least two times during the performance that Billy Corgan had developed a Boston accent
